The Displaced is a super natural mystery tale that starts with a promising idea and a few likeable characters Unfortunately the book never really goes anywhere Likewise the individual characters do not undergo significant development as they suffer through what passes for a plot in this book The overal result is a sad and depressing book with a cliched and predictable ending Ed Brisson Gotta say a story about the very town I was born and raised in disappearing off the face of the Earth I was excited as all heck for this one.
