The story of a heartx story My last bit of advice is that I was not in any hurry to get to this but from the first page I was hooked There is so much anecdotal fascinating things having to do with the human body areas of medicine how it s evolved how certain mechanisms such as the ventilators were originated what you do in an accident that could mean saving a life your child s life makes all the difference before an ambulance arrive told in easy to grasp layperson language Whatever your thoughts are whether you found it to be a phenomenal reading experience of comfort or not I really hope you will tell me No pressure. The story of a hearty love The main story of Keira and Max is written in an engaging way that s also touching and I definitely was choking up in several scenes especially where Keira s family has to deal with her loss Both of the involved families go through a lot and the author writes about everyone involved with a lot of compassion Although it s obvious that the heart transplant will succeed since the story would just be too depressing otherwise it was still suspenseful when things don t go perfectly and the author also does a great job at highlighting the many people involved in the transplant process and all of their efforts and struggles.
