This was such a good first volume I adored the art style and the premise of an otaku vampire who becomes friends with her neighbor and shenanigans ensues There is so much to unpack about the FMC s reentry into society that s spurred on by being an avid fan of a character to the shift in conventional storylines where the guy is the one all the vampires want to suck dry I wasn t expecting anything and was happy with where volume 1 left off Can t wait to read the next Thank you to NetGalley and Kodansha for the DRC and the opportunity to read this Otaku Vampire s Love Bite.

Otaku Vampire's Love Bite, Vol. 1tx34 I do not have words to express how happy this manga made me It was so cute I love that the main character is a vampire who is not moping about being a vampire but just enjoys her life as an otaku in Japan One of the things that has gotten really tired for me is the vampire that is sad about being a vampire and spends half the story whining about being a dark soulless creature This story is not like that This vampire while also being the sort that does not drink human blood doesn t spend her time mourning her fate as a vampire She is such a cute and fun character A real breath of fresh air I also love how just generally carefree and go with the flow she is Nothing gets her down which makes her meeting with her grumpy neighbor all the fun. Otaku vampire's love bite vol. 1m mixcloud The story was also a lot of fun I like that the set up was fairly quick so that we are able to get right into the kind of slice of life story I can t wait to read It is honestly bittersweet that I got to read this so early because it means I have to wait longer to read of it but I am sure it is going to be well worth the wait I loved this so so much I might read it again while I still have access to the digital ARC Definitely going to be buying this one when it comes out so I can read it again and again So excited to have a new fun vampire story Thank you so much to Netgalley and VIZ Media for the digital ARC Otaku Vampire s Love Bite Vol 1 Moving from Romania to Japan can be quite the cultural shock especially for Hina a Vampire that s only known her room her entire life However Japan allows her to do the one thing she s always wanted to live out her Otaku dreams All she seems to care about is the show Vampire Cross especially loving her favorite character Mao After yearning for a friend to share her Otaku dream she runs into her new next door neighbor Kyuta and he looks EXACTLY like Mao Although his personality doesn t match Hina is keen on befriending Kyuta and the two set off on their Hina s Otaku dreams Opposites attract kinda in this first hilarious volume of a story of a girl just trying to live her geeked out dreams As someone that understands Hina s devotion to her faves I found this hilarious and the characters easily likeable Although it felt fast paced at times not one situation in the volume felt like it was dragged out 4.
