Good mother birthday gifts com site_link I enjoyed this book The story was a captivating read Grace an eight year old girl was snatched from her tent Having other girls taken older than Grace and how they tied into the plot was clever There were a few cliffhangers as chapters shifted from one character to another and I wanted from each chapter before it switched to another character Young Adult Romance Mystery A lot of names and characters to take in during the first chapters demanding a lot of concentration as the book is written in 4 POVs Jackie Duncan Farah Anna. A good motherboard for ryzen 5 5600x The end of each POV chapter is left on a cliffie which kept me on the edge of my seat But a little disappointed when the next chapter jumped to another character and I was left waiting to know what happened to the last POV. A good mother's day breakfast A good read with believable characters So believable that several times I was shouting out at them to make the right decisions which of course they didn t Young Adult Romance Mystery I really enjoyed this it was thought provoking and made me think You can really tell that this author can get into the minds of the characters she is writing about it and it worked for me I like the contemporary references and also loved the descriptions you could imagine that you were there Young Adult Romance Mystery A Good Mother by Joy Lynn Goddard and Daniel Pike What an emotional read Get your hanky ready Absolutely loved this I m so glad I discovered this book It s an engaging read largely dialogue led with alternating points of view I liked how it showed different perspectives and there was a sense of forgiveness It s very much from the point of view of mothers rather than fathers hence the title The Good Mother Sad in parts loss death of a child sex trafficking details as backdrop to story well researched about abductions and gripping particularly towards the end Fab book no question this one is a 5 star read Highly recommended Young Adult Romance Mystery PowerfulEvery mother s worst nightmare I will say this novel A Good Mother is as terrifying as it is enjoyable to read The prose is done well the characters fully developed with no emotions left behind and the setting could be any town world wide Fellow reader do have the hankies close by as two heartbreaking stories meld into one Authors Joy and Daniel once again give followers an excellent portrayal of their writing ability Worth than 5 Young Adult Romance Mystery 
When I start a book with numerous POV and characters it can take a while for me to get into it This was the case with A Good Mother but once over that hurdle I began to engage with the story The unthinkable happens an eight year old girl is abducted The shock unbearable distress and worry felt by her mother is expertly portrayed. Book godfather Unlike many crime stories which end with the perpetrator s of the offence being revealed this took a different trajectory Thought provoking perspectives from the various characters means the reader s sympathy is unexpectedly evoked A startling consequence of the missing girl s trauma was for me the most shocking part of the narrative. A good enough mother book An emotional compelling read which I recommend Young Adult Romance Mystery This proved to be a thought provoking read regarding right wrong and maternal feelings How would I react in Farah s situation The child in this was beautifully portrayed and one is left standing in her shoes Young Adult Romance Mystery This book is all about connections Family connections business connections friendship connections When a terrible incident occurs these connections become interlinked and a young girl Grace is abducted only the police and a psychic can pull apart the threads in an attempt to find the correct connections that will solve the case I thoroughly enjoyed A Good Mother by Joy Lynn Goddard There are numerous characters and numerous POV s in this book but she pulls them together in a way that gives the reader a real page turner Young Adult Romance Mystery In keeping with my New Year resolution to write reviews on a consistent basis for the books I read I offer my review of Joy Lynn Goddard s A Good Mother A Novel. Download the good bad mother pdf I enjoy the pace of literary fiction and A Good Mother did not disappoint Rather than rush to a conclusion the author draws us in as we learn about the characters and their situations providing context for later events as their paths cross I like to feel the characters to give me a reason to care about them so this was especially appealing to me. A good enough mother book I think the author has a particularly strong grasp of her child characters and it makes sense to me that she is a top novelist in the Young Adult genre I did some back ground reading before sitting down to write this For me an indicator of the strength of this novel is the fact that I find myself thinking about how I might have reacted if I were to have found myself in the situations of certain of the characters I thought I was stronger than the main character but the ending proved me wrong Young Adult Romance Mystery Having a child abducted is every mother s worst nightmare and so this captivating story will resonate with many readers Eight year old Grace goes missing from the tent she is sleeping in and there appear to be no solid leads Detective Duncan Jewell is investigating another missing teenage girl and he stumbles upon Grace s kidnapping and befriends her mother Jackie whom he is drawn to The two cases seem to be connected but Duncan cannot figure out how until he enlists the help of his beloved Aunt Anna who is a kind of psychic The chapters shifted from one character to another and I found this a little confusing at first but the further I read into the book it all started to come together and I thoroughly enjoyed the story Young Adult Romance Mystery
