Kenya loved bad boys and she got her wish in Beckham He was your typical mafia male He was brutal and dangerous.

Though couldn t even finish it Got halfway through the terrible dialogue missing motivations before I gave up I understand that these books are a fantasy but This one in particular made no sense The dialogue was some stereotypical imagining of what strong men women sound like which makes it ridiculous And can we talk about BSDM relationships Beckham just goes to spanking using a tawse without any conversation Without establishing a trusted relationship Seriously ridiculous This book feels rushed lots of weird conventions Like Beckham speaks without using contractions because Some odd affectation Disappointed in this one Really bad Kindle Edition Very repetitive I get that it s the 6th book.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review Kindle Edition wooden characters laughable plotI m not sure what went wrong with this book because I enjoyed the others in the series I enjoy this author This book but the first half of every book is basically a copy paste plot They meet in some completely random way the women have to join them at their houses for protection but then the guys brother friend father makes a comment about how the fmc is untrustworthy and a plant or spy some how Then come the tests for her trustworthiness and if her whole life is fabricated lmaooo it s so ridiculous Also let s not forget moments after the fmc and mmc meet he sp nks her to get her in line 100% get it s a romance novel and things are fast paced and very naughty but EVERY BOOK I really like the main plot with the death squad and the alliance which really takes off in the 2nd half of the book Plot is very interesting even though it s a little slow paced but that s fine I enjoy the meat and potatoes of the series but there are way too many copy paste moments for me Kindle Edition So EXHILARATING The sixth book in the Lords Of Corruption was definitely worth the wait.
