This book is a mafia romance though is pretty tame and non violent by mafia romance standards It had a lot of familiar tropes like a virgin heroine a boss who is really a mafia don It s certainly not the best that I ve read in the genre but it was a quick easy read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review 123 Heroine eas TSTL 123 Rafael and Amelia s story was an enjoyable read It was an entertaining read And am voluntarily leaving this review 123 This is a Dark Mafia Romance Novella and this is the third book in the Forced Marriage Mafia Bosses series I got pulled into this story right away and I really liked the characters This book was short but it was packed with action and drama that kept you wanting to keep reading I loved the romance between the two main characters and I felt the characters had a connection I wish the main female character would stand up for herself to her Dad but the story would not be as good as it was if she did I received an ARC of this book This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are 123 
Tame Mafia StoryI found the story a little too tame for the mafia genre It has Bosses Dons Enforcers gambling debts revenge justice crime hero heroine and love But it lacks the breath stealing sex suspense take overs snarling menace and action associated with the genre It is like every author wants to write Mafia they never acted on anything Rafael is a mafia don using his day job as a cover Amelia is his employee and graphic designer. One day Amelia gets news that her father has been gambling again and owes a debt Her boss overhears and offers up an option allow her to bid her virginity in an auction that night and Rafael will win her of course What happens when Amelia goes to the auction house and finds out her boss has won her virginity When they finally openly fall for each other how can they make it work with her gambling father THOUGHTS I loved this It s my favorite Maria Frost novella so far It s yummy and so is Rafael This is a love story but it also deals with tough subjects like gambling addictions and domestic violence I loved reading this little book it was perfect and the story was told beautifully.
