A reasonable effort but one where I think I can see how easily a better version could be made This is a picture book telling of A Midsummer Night s Dream which reduces the text so drastically that the human lovers are only going to confuse the reader The visuals give a nice Ready Brek glow to those enchanted by Puck but the art again might have worked better in a different fashion I like the depth of field and the mists in the distance but the magic and luxury of the woodland is instead turned into a welter of leaves berries and other detail instead The third narrative form here is that we have multiple buttons to hear snippets of the Mendelssohn score whose qualities I can t rate from a digital file.
