I knew I was in for an all timer the moment I laid eyes on that noir aesthetic It s amazing how North is able to come up with these unique issues every month I hope he gets to write the FF forever Fantastic Four 2022 19 My least favorite of North s run of Fantastic Four About 95 percent of this comic was set in a noir world so there was really no chance I was going to like this C est la vie Fantastic Four 2022 19 Not a fan of cliche noir storys where there is a pretty damsel who needs help from some detective but the colorist did a good job gradually adding and colors Story wise it had as much dialogue as a tv soap opera 5 stars for the attempt Do it again and maybe it ll be fewer stars Fantastic Four 2022 19 A Fantastic noir mystery set in the Fantastic Four universe with Detective Alicia Masters Grimm as the hard boiled gumshoe Fantastic Four 2022 19 A great standalone FF tale takes place in a changed reality that is all noir The art especially the color was completely amazing A great great story Super fun and stylish Fantastic Four 2022 19 4. Fantastic four books of doom 5 stars Well that was fun I picked this one up on a whim as I m not a Fantastic Four fan Sure I saw the movie and thought the characters were neat but I m a long way away from getting that far into the Marvel Universe I just couldn t resist the noir aspect including the Alex Ross cover and reviews said this was a standalone story which was correct I didn t need any real background to know what was going on and the story by Ryan North was fun enough to enjoy all on its own The art by Carlos Gomez was absolutely terrific some of the best I ve seen in a comic so far and the colors few as they were but all awesomely placed by Jesus Aburtov were top notch Fantastic Four 2022 19
