Tarrah Anders The Striker offers a refreshing palate cleanser for readers seeking a blend of sports romance and steamy encounters Set in the world of soccer the novel intricately weaves together the story of a football player and a reporter delivering a captivating narrative filled with both on field action and intimate moments Perfectly suited as an in between read The Striker is sure to satisfy fans of the genre with its engaging storyline and irresistible chemistry between the main characters 149 Cute Meet GoalsBently and Katie are absolutely adorable This may be a quick read for some but it is blacked with smexiness Tarrah has scored with this one With this one she has just reinforced why she is one of my favourite go to authors 149 While this could seem quick it s also a learning experience for both Bently and Katie They learn that yeah men and women really do hear different things during a disagreement They worry just as much about being alone or lonely They don t want to misstep But they also maybe both want love So yeah it might seem quick But it s also two people who just click They spend a lot of time getting to know each other They have fun in and out of an area with linens and pillows And they learn to communicate along the way which is always a plus Even better is the fact that they both learn They both own up to mistakes quickly And they definitely have a good foundation to build on thanks to all of it 149 Katie has just been as a sports reporter for a professional football soccer based out of Chicago As she gets to know the members of the team and as attractive as most of the team is she s really only attracted to Bently She s shocked to discover that he s attracted to her to Bently hears the guys talking about Katie and knows they only want her to be another notch on their bedposts but he thinks she has the potential to be so much to him After a wonderful beginning to their relationship they hit a speed bump Will they able to get past this and have a chance The characters are very likeable and relatable I enjoyed the story and even though it had a bit detail than I m used to when it comes to describing parts of the soccer games I even grew to enjoy those parts as well I loved how the team would tease as well as actually talk to each other Katie had the support of her parents as well as her best friend Rhys and his brother who oddly enough was her ex boyfriend Another new to me author and one with a large backlog of books if the last few pages are accurate in listing her books I am interested to see what else she s written Lovers of sports romance will really enjoy this book too in my opinion. Contemporary striker odyssey This is a well written easy to read emotional roller coaster with close proximity humor witty banter friendships misunderstandings tension engaging and realistic characters and love which leads to an entertaining and steamy page turner.
