Book seasonal covid booster Evan Garrison is a former Army Ranger running a private security firm near Naples Florida Asked by friends to join a reunion cruise vacation he was surprised when Zoe Wilder a beautiful young medical resident volunteered to accompany him Leaving his three partners and old friends behind to manage his company Evan and Zoe embark both wondering if the cruise would move their friendship toward romance They were unaware that a massive conspiracy to remake the world was looming as John Locke a billionaire and self proclaimed visionary and his followers prepared to unleash a deadly virus on the world Trapped on an infected ship at sea can Evan use his survival skills to protect Zoe and his friends and return safely to their Florida home At Sea Day Lost in an Infected and Dying World 1 This was my favorite Jack Hance book so far The deadly virus is scary but since we have all experienced a dangerous virus recently it hits close to home The powerful evil antagonist is believable but it isn t clear yet whether the young brave band of survivors that have found each other during this book will have to deal with him as in the earlier Hance series they are led by a resourceful man with military and prepping experience and that is a definite advantage in this situation I can t wait to read about their adventures trying to survive Jack Hance This was a really good book A very steady easy read for an EOTWAWKI It had an ending where if you don t want to read the next book you don t have to I love that type of ending I hate cliffhangers where you re forced to read the next book I never read the next book if I m forced too But when I m given the choice like this one I will choose to read the next book Jack Hance Right on PointLove apocalyptic tales give the book a chance He pulled all the characters together in web of storytelling that kept me intrigued The author seems knowledgeable of both medical and military backgrounds Jack Hance
