I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review Puck with Karma New York Sliders 2 I really enjoyed this story This is book two of the New York Sliders Series Xander is very untrustworthy about people He has been told numerous times that no one would be there for him and only his father would have his back So being in a relationship with someone and believing everything they say was difficult for him He liked to jump to conclusions quite frequently This did cause a lot of problems Abigail Abby is trying to make a success of her life and get away from the pressures her mother puts on her She is also hiding a secret from everyone at work I get why she was doing it but once she got invested in her relationship with Xander she really should ve been honest with him This secret causes a lot of problems between Xander and herself By the end of the book they have both worked on their own problems and become a solid unit I liked their relationship development and how they were able to form strong bonds with each other and others in their life Puck with Karma New York Sliders 2 Another 5 star read from Andie Bale Honestly if you haven t read any of Andie s great books what are you waiting for For all his life Xander has known nothing but hockey Though as he is getting older Xander is starting to let his hot temper rule his life Rule his life on the rink with his manager father and rule his life with his career. Abigail Bennett appears to have it all However looks can be deceiving Abby truly wants to live her own life away from her controlling mother Abby wants to make a name for herself and knows she must go out on her own to accomplish her dreams. After a few odd encounters Xander and Abby are drawn together and the fireworks begin The question remains though can Xander and Abby overcome what their lives throw at them Andie Bale has given us the next installment in The New York Sliders series and it is 5 note worthy flames Andie has a definite style that pulls her readers in from the beginning and doesn t turn them loose until the final sentence With fabulous characters steamy action and laughs too you will love Puck with Karma Puck with Karma New York Sliders 2 Puck with Karma is Book 2 of the New York Sliders series I have been so excited for this story since reading book one which I highly recommend reading before this one although not required It s a steamy enemies to lovers slow burn age gap opposites attract forced proximity grumpy sunshine girl gets her hockey player romance Abigail Abby is a young socialite who wants to be a sports agent and go to college but has a highly controlling mother who feels she just needs a socially acceptable marriage to succeed in life Xander is a hunky grumpy cocky intense arrogant and broody professional hockey player for the Minnesota Cats These two characters have some serious family baggage that definitely affects how they handle relationships While I hated Xander in the first story this one gives great insight into why he is the way he is I still wish he treated Mallory better but things make sense When Abby gets an internship with the Minnesota Cats her and Xander have a series of run ins that are stressful But over time they are forced together and feelings change Their chemistry is so intense that at times I thought my Kindle would melt. I do wish Abby was forthcoming with the issues with Wesley and Bran as it would have saved a lot of drama but where is the story in that But I am so glad she started to find her voice. My family is dysfunctional but these characters are Olympic level dysfunction The story had moments of character growth his relationship with his father is blowing up and her ex Wesley asks her to come home to help him Their relationship imploded and she goes to New York to try to reconnect with Brandon who plays for the Cats arch rivals the NY Sliders Abby and Xander reconcile she becomes his agent and they get their HEA. Self awareness and all the feels along with a ton of steam and angst: Having read Puck At First Sight I was looking forward to the overlaps and loved them, Great read with fun moment and steamy sessions that have you wanting . After a great deal of drama our couple does get a happy ending I would love to see stories for Janie and Noah I loved it and can t wait for the next one.
