But her real father is an international crime boss with the CIA on his tail She and Alex mistaken as her boyfriend are quickly captured by her father and have to not only find a way to escape but try to thwart his evil plans While the relationships in the book are a bit shallow and I don t know if I d have a deep one with a father like Andee s the book had non stop action and some mysteries to keep the reader invested I also loved the inclusion of a hard of hearing main character and agree with Tiana Smith that this isn t common in a book In addition to writing this in with a nod to her husband.

Mr nice guy blu ray Though there s no on page shenanigans in this romance I totally believed the chemistry between Andee Paxton a pyrotechnic engineer who just realized her father is a crime boss Adam Chan a CIA officer who s assigned to her case. Spy up nice books In other books the fact that he s on the case might be the source of the conflict between them but in this one it comes down to the fake dating they have to do when Andee s dad kidnaps them. Contemporary Mr. Nice spy I always love the back forth between two people who are attracted to each other but who are fake dating in this scenario it s extra interesting given that the stakes are so big Other things that I loved about this one are the disability rep Chan is hard of hearing he isn t afraid to express his insecurities when it comes to his job just his general willingness to put himself out there when it comes to her Their first exchange is adorable. Mr nice guy thriller novel I wish there had been in the romance department if not physically then just with verbal declarations but this is an entertaining fast paced cutie of a romance that I really enjoyed. Book mr. nice spy x reader CWs attempted murder murder kidnapping 368 I love romcoms they can brighten even my darkest days I read this one while I was on vacation and it was a true delight Right as I started reading I knew I was going to love it because Andee has such an amazing job She is a pyrotechnic engineer How cool is that I don t think that I have ever read a book with a character with a job like this so it was a treat I didn t realize that this book was part of an interconnected series Being interconnected you don t need to read the first one for this one to make sense Adam is a supporting character in book one and shines as a main character in this book I fully understood everything that was going on without reading book one though after reading this one I want to go back and read the first because this one was so good I adored the writing It was light and fun and easy to get lost in I loved how much adventure there was in this romcom as well just so great The author s note was also a true delight While reading I had a hunch that hearing loss might be personal to the author and reading about how and why it was was special When you read this book I urge you not to skip this treat Thank you to berkleyromance the author tianasmithbooks and netgalley for this e arc All thoughts are my own 368 Thanks to Berkley for the eARC via NetGalley All opinions are my own I loved Tiana s first book The Spy and I and was thrilled when Mr Nice Spy was announced and that the MMC would be Adam Chan I was even thrilled when I received the eARC of the book I devoured it in a day and loved it all In this book the Big Bad from book one Holt is still active and the CIA is determined to track him down When the FMC Andee takes a DNA test and discovers Holt is her father so does the CIA And so does Holt What happens next requires Andee and Chan to trust each other and work together to secure their freedom in part by pretending to date I love a suspense romance and this book did not let me down There was chemistry between Andee and Chan as well as healthy doses of conflict to keep me wondering how we would get to an HEA in addition to the two MCs being free of Holt I think readers who enjoyed The Spy and I won t be disappointed by Mr Nice Spy I really hope Tiana writes books in this universe I particularly would love one with Madison the sister of the FMC from The Spy and I as the lead character 368 Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley Publishing Group for providing this book with my honest review below. Mr nice full book In this book Officer Adam Chan is the MMC It s not typical for a main character especially the MMC to be hard of hearing so I really appreciated this representation He meets Andee our pyrotechnic engineer heroine After a lifetime of her mother telling her that Andee s father was a famous actor Andee decides to take a DNA test to prove it It turns out that she does have a famous father it s just not someone she could have ever imagined Andee s father is Holt the villain from the previous book The Spy and I and he s been looking for her. Mr. Nice spyke splatoon Quickly after the story starts so does the adventure Andee and Chan who is mistaken as Andee s boyfriend are kidnapped by Holt Honestly I was on the edge of my seat for most of it trying to figure out how Andee and Chan would escape if they would get a HEA or if they could ever be free of Holt. Spy on kindle fire Andee and Chan definitely have chemistry The story is told in a single POV so we know how Andee is feeling While she s interested in Chan she s unsure if he reciprocates her feelings or if he s only playing a part doing his job to keep them both alive. Mr nice guy book 5 5Release date November 5th 2024Blurb Read on with caution review may contain spoilers Mr Nice Spy is an action packed thrilling spy romance novel with its main characters Andee and Chan having some sizzling romance despite them being kidnapped by Holt an international arms dealer wanted by the CIA who happens to be Andee s biological father Despite her circumstances in the story Andee s personality seemed to resonate with me She s brilliant in her field but has been discriminated against in the workplace because of her lack of experience She seems brave and headstrong but na ve sometimes that I honestly want to slap her hoping she would see some sense in her actions as I feel like doing with myself sometimes lol Chan on the other hand was such a capable and reliable spy despite his hearing disability His chemistry with Andee was quite confusing initially because he seems to speak with double meanings when talking about his feelings with her Still his actions were so sweet especially in helping her remember herself when Holt seems to be manipulating her views about herself Despite being with her for a short time while being held captive he was willing to sacrifice his life to save her The story dragged quite a bit in the beginning with a lot less action than I hoped for and the stakes didn t feel as significant in the beginning but the plot thickened during the last 40% of the book having set up the high stakes of Andee and Chan s escape I enjoyed the thrill of their escape and when I realized the impact Holt s villainy will bring I couldn t help but root for them all the way I also couldn t help but think how laughable the CIA is again depicted in this series I mean with all the tech and manpower they must have surely they could do a rescue mission for Andee and Chan right This was a fun and thrilling read and I would highly recommend reading the first novel The Spy and I first before diving into this one The romance is far better in this one with Chan being such a dreamboat with his heroic actions for Andee 368 Yet another amazing book that s out on my birthday 368
