I thoroughly enjoyed this continuation of Jack Grady s adventures in space with his rag tag crew on the Adventurer This series is so much fun blending science with the fantastical in new and intriguing ways and really keeping me on my toes with the unexpected twists What I like most about how this series is developing are the character interactions They are so believable their desires resonate and I care about their outcomes so very much The things that happen to Zoe in this volume in particular were absolutely heartwrenching and so well portrayed from what the captain saw and how he tried to support her despite it all.
