The letter book game The plot has three people that find a mysterious letter in the mail Emily Baker is a 5th grade teacher Chuck Wilson is a truck driver who hauls containers for the Port of Charleston and John Simpson works on docks at the same place Each is told to go to a bank on Broad Street in Charleston and ask for a safety deposit box with 1000 cash a new driver s license credit card and map of Daufuskie Island Then Emily Chuck and John are given precise instructions to pick up a rental car from the airport and drive to a hotel in Hilton Head They were told not tell anyone if they want to live They were all enticed by the money but fearful with the danger What they do next made me want to learn . Kindle The letter Half way through it felt like I knew the ending which slowed the book down Yet I was surprised to find some good twists in there that kept me going and speculating on how real this story could be There were a lot of characters involved in trying to solve the murder I kept wondering who was going to be important to remember The story shows how easy it could be for any of us to be a target It s a good plot for discussions especially in the low country where it sinks right in and borders on what could happen 9798889101826
