This is such a quick read with just 194 pages And I love this book to bits for multiple reasons and let me begin This Book s storyline is the best part The story just cuts to the chase no dragging by laying down the ground for it The murder occurs quickly as well Girl gangs have a weird way of harboring vengeance and it has been perfectly depicted in this book The story opens well and the entire book is written from Maya s perspective All the girls are set to go to Riya s 40th birthday But things unveil differently Maya goes on unveiling different truths along the way starting from her flight journey And there are quite a number of twists One of the girls dies in the middle and how she will die isn t something awing when it is revealed however the murderer and their motive seemed perfect This is a good read I d definitely give 3. Dying to meetdapper I just LOVE closed room murder mysteries with lots of salacious secrets and twists Not to sound rude but very few contemporary Indian murder mysteries has shocked me or even properly entertained me successfully But girv you have made a fan of me today I loved the author s smooth and steady writing style with the exactly the proper amount of intrigue at situations I swear from the beginning to the end of this almost 200 page book I felt like was IN the story as Maya the protagonist Or to be less dramatic it felt like I was watching a mini tv series with the events happening right in front of my eyes The characters were perfectly written Right from page 1 you will bond with the protagonist Maya and over the next couple of chapters you will be totally intruiged by all the four friends Their friendship made me think of my own friendships the ones I have from my school days We meet infrequently now but once upon a time we used to know EVERY last bit of secret about each other Maya Sam Naina and Riya s happy ol days made me nostalgic of my own happy days and their situation after 10 years made me rethink my own life It was really sad that Maya never got to have closure with that friend.
