This was such a page turner The continuation of Myrina s story and seeing how much she grew in the course of this story made it worth the read I can t wait to read the next story and see where Myrina and Tanael go from here Karen A Moon Maybe 2. PDF An Empire of Light and shadow 5 I really like the premise of this series the idea for the storyline is very unique Tanael and Myrina s past is finally answered at the end I just can t get past the writing Unfortunately the writing style and or dialogue just isn t for me I m of course going to read the 3rd so I can just finish the series and don t get me wrong I do find the series very interesting it s just the execution Karen A Moon ExcellenceThis is thesecond book in this series It ends with a cliff hanger The characters are well rounded You really need to read the first book to get the full picture I can hardly wait to read the third book I m looking forward to see how this all resolves Karen A Moon The next amazing installment picks up right where we left off in the last book from an amazing cliffhanger An all out war has been ragged to find Lilith s daughter the Ark of the covenant and the holy grail first All while you meet and understand the true identities of the crew from the first book The author takes you on a dive deeper into the love battle that wages between the two main characters and the connection they have like nothing else They give your the feels and often jerk a tear from you because of the inner turmoil the lies with the truth that is to be revealed lf mythical gods adventure and grappling love stories are your thing you will love this second book The book ends with our leading lady diving deep inside to understand her true self and arising to a true spiritual awakening We will know have to wait for book 3 to see if Hayes new discovery empowers her to fight for her true love and finally put an end to the one who s been trying to keep them apart Make sure you read book one first before starting book 2 Karen A Moon
