Favorite Quote Everett Park my bodyguard all striking and handsome with his crisp white Oxford shirt his gelled hair that he keeps running his hands through and messing up and his earnest eyes just called me Wife I ve peaked when it comes to romantic scenarios and it s not even real This was such a quick fun and suspenseful read It was different reading the suspense aspects mixed with the marriage of convenience trope but I highly enjoyed it The tension and chemistry between Everett and Laina from page one was incredible The twists and turns Hope put in this story will have you on the edge of your seat until the very last page and I m excited to read the rest of the Black Swan Protection series Hope Snyder I m an emotional mess after reading this love story that kept me on the edge of my seat and SO looking forward to the sweet ending The tension between Laina and Everett building up the unfolding of these two just kept my heart in La La land I absolutely loved their relationship the way the author weaves in quirky humor action and back stories was quite thrilling The amount of dialogue within the mind of Laina was well thought out The scene at her retreat was just heartbreaking but what waits after all this was truly a sweet love story and I am looking forward to reading from the author Hope Snyder Living in survival mode has been the only state of being Laina has known since the day she walked in to find that her parent s plane had gone down over the Alos with no survivors Her anchor on all of the insanity of becoming CEO to her family company and the wake of this tragedy has been the devastatingly gorgeous Everett Park her personal bodyguard. EBook Trust meaning It s been almost four years with Laina starting to heal and think about herself outside of her grief an unexpected moment brings everything to a halt Laina s only mode of survival is to then return home and marry Everett Park Hope Snyder Trust Me by Hope Snyder was a total case of Bookstagram made me do it As it happens sometimes by the time I was notified I had made the team and actually got the ARC I had forgotten all about the blurb I only remembered it was a bodyguard book series This also meant that by the time I started the story I really enjoyed getting to experience some of the tropes and things for the first time Namely the bodyguard CEO dynamic and relationship Everett and Laina are so sweet the slow burn forced proximity marriage of convenience some of my favorite tropes and the Romantic Suspense part of it Seriously the author has done a great job with this novella infusing it with the perfect amount of action suspense and hold your breath moments The plot twists definitely had me turning the pages and the sweet romance kept me swooning and sighing all the way Speaking of it did take me by surprise that this was a single POV Laina s story but as is always the trade off the confession of love feelings the first kiss were totally worth the wait. Book trust reviews This was a thoroughly captivating read and I d recommend it to anyone looking for a new Sweet Romantic Suspense that s on the shorter side and or to the ones who are following the Black Swan Protection series For me this was a solid 4. Book trust recommended books 5 since the line about manifesting but especially the missing person in the final scene not her dad since I understand respect that decision but I really thought there was going to be an officiant I know they re already married they wanted it to be private and it wasn t technically necessary but I guess as a Christian I really thought there was going to be one felt off Other than that this novella had me picking it up whenever I could so I plan to check out other books by this author as well as the series 4. Trust Me ebook Things I Loved Our MMC is Korean I just spent last weekend with my Korean bestie after NINE YEARS of not seeing each other It was so joyous I can t even tell you So yeah I loved that Everett was Korean because he reminded me of Sonhee but also because diversity in books is important He got her roses to put on her parents graves All the middle names that Ev gives to LainaQuotes That Stuck Out Working and living with Everett is like constantly walking past a statue in a fine art museum I can admire its exquisiteness the handsome details and distinguished shaping of a noble statue but I m not going to take it home and build a life around it and live happily ever after Has he always done that the whole shirt rolling thing No I know he hasn t This is new andsexy I can t stop staring at his flexing forearms That s ridiculous I whisper then clear my throat You don t have to die to protect me But I would Every single day I would take a bullet for you I would do whatever it takes to keep you safe You should probably stop doing that he says in a low deep voice as my fingers stay in his hair Why His eyes flutter closed and he smiles whispering to me You re driving me crazy Laina I don t deserve you I whisper to him. Trust Me ebookee Sometimes you really don t he whispers back with a laugh Hope Snyder I can t beleive that this is a debut novel Hope Snyder sucked me in from the very beginning The novel is fast paced and kept me on a roller coaster ride throughout the entire book The book starts with Laina a CEO in New York City She learns about a dangerous family secret and has no idea what to do Her bodyguard Everett sees her distress and presents a plan to help her but it requires her to completely trust him Here are a few things that I loved Hidden identities The teamwork between Everett and Laina Laina s creativity at the end of the bookThank you to the author for the advance copy of this book A positive review was not required Hope Snyder Oh I loved this one Such a great romantic suspense novella bitesized but still thrilling Laina Everett were the sweetest Hope managed to pack both a tragic backstory and love hope for a future Hope Snyder I love a good bodyguard romance Their long secret love for each other made me swoon It was the perfect development of having the two characters reveal their truth through secrets that bonded them together A fun and sweet read Hope Snyder Trust Me is part of the Black Swan Protection Novella series This is a multi author series and all books can be read as standalones or in any order I love a protective MMC so of course a bodyguard romance is going to be a perfect fit right But I honestly hadn t read a whole lot of them up until now this one certainly has me wanting to change that Right from the start this one drew me in and it had so many surprises throughout that I found myself not wanting to put it down It had just the right blend of action and romance and I found myself really enjoying everything about these characters Despite its shorter length it was not short on story There was so much going on in this book so much drama so much action so many secrets It really did not feel like a shorter read at all I enjoyed every minute of it With a wonderful debut like this I absolutely cannot wait to see from Hope Snyder in the future Trust Me is a closed door romance with kisses only It does have a handful of very minor language ARC received for consideration All opinions are my own Hope Snyder 4.
