Book Creeps, Cache, & corpses As Katie is deciding what her new plans should be she gets into a conversation with one of her students named Carlee The teenager explains that over break she and her father who she just recently met are going to go to New Prague Minnesota so they can have a memorial service for her late mom You see after her mom gave birth to Carlee seventeen years ago she passed away She was raised by one of her mother s friends and now seems like the right time to find some peace in her life Since her father CJ never knew he had a daughter while he was away in the military and just recently found out about her now is the time for them to come together to heal their broken hearts. Kindle creeps, cache, & corpses pdf When the large group of them arrive in New Prague they plan to have some fun too in between the planned events There will be salon treatments shopping sightseeing and even some geocaching in the local state park But things take a terrible turn when Katie s group stumbles upon a dead body while they re geocaching in a remote part of the park Now one of their group is arrested and being charged with murder Can they prove their friend s innocence How does the memorial service go What other things happen while staying in New Prague My first impression of this cozy mystery was that I couldn t wait to be a part of all the events including the memorial service Ms Seifert has a wonderful way of writing to make the reader feel as if they are another character in the story seeing everything firsthand From seeing the quaint town of New Prague as the characters move about town to even the fun session of geocaching many of them did together in the local state park each scene pulls the reader in to feel as if they are right there being part of the group When they stumbled upon the dead body which turned out to be one of the first people they met in this town I felt my heart pounding in my chest as if I found the dead body myself When the arrest happened to one of their group members I found myself trying to come up with viable evidence to supply the police to aid in having them released. Creeps, cache, & corpsesand The author did a great job including Maverick Katie s Labrador Retriever and Renegade a female Labrador Retriever into the story and I loved how both canines had an equal part throughout the pages I love stories that include animals in the storyline and I felt that when both dogs would do something silly in this story I was right there watching them be mischievous I couldn t help but laugh out loud at their antics and I just had a warm feeling overall for both retrievers I couldn t wait to see which one of them found themselves in hot water next.
