The Trade: A taut international thriller with a dark psychological twist By Morgan Greene
Becoming trader joe epub I only wish the end had not been so abrupt I would have liked to know a bit A great thriller in any case Thank you very much Morgan for letting me read your novel as an ARC Again a great experience Morgan Greene Another great readThis book had so many twists and turns When all hope seemed lost there was another twist Hopefully we hear from this character Morgan Greene I absolutely loved this fast paced taut thriller and you can really feel Andrea s aka the executioners sense of desperation and how isolated she is Vasquez really made my skin crawl and I couldn t think of a single redeeming feature for him The Trade is twisty and very well written and is completely different to other books by this author which shows how versatile his writing style is 5 stars from me Morgan Greene The trade is a standalone thriller by Morgan Greene I really enjoyed reading his Jamie Johansson files series so I was looking forward to reading this Andrea Grierson is an investigator nicknamed The executioner for the International Labour Organisation She has been sent to OV Coffee plantation in the Bolivian Highlands when they have applied for Fair trade status She thinks that this is just another routine case but the owner Micheal Vasquez knows she is coming and knows her background her nickname and her strict reporting He knows what he wants and knows how to get it Andrea thinks that she will be done quickly But Micheal and the plantation is not all as it seems and Andrea is going to find out all about the plantation and what kind of danger she is in. The trader joe This is a fast paced thriller that kept me to the edge of my seat and I couldn t put down I liked the feisty and not scared of anything character of Andrea doing everything she can to get out of the mess she was in I felt the story was well drawn out but I was disappointed a bit due to the ending it ended quite abruptly 5 stars from me Morgan Greene Standalone book from the author of the Jamie Johansson novels and another dark and compelling read I think I ve read every book this author has written and enjoyed every single one this is no exception Set largely on a coffee plantation in Bolivia where Andrea Grierson has been sent by the International Labour Organisation to investigate the plantations request for Fairtrade status Just another day at the office for this seasoned investigator I do love this authors writing style and I fair wizzed through this Briefly on arrival Andrea is unexpectedly met by the plantation owner Michael Vasquez and it s obvious from the start this isn t going to be a normal job Turning down his offer to stay at his plantation house she s dropped at a hotel After a dramatic encounter with a member of staff she reluctantly moves to Vasquez home It soon becomes clear that the coffee business is just a front for all sorts of nefarious activities and Vasquez isn t going to let Andrea leave until he has her report completed to his satisfaction and will he let her leave then This is a fast paced read from the start Some gruesome moments but not overly so and definitely appropriate to the storyline Andrea is a good character rather blas about her own safety and maybe a little naive about what was going on around her at first but she soon got the message Some good twists and a few shocks along the way and I would have liked to know a bit at the conclusion A very good exciting and tense thriller that I finished in a day it was so engrossing Great read Morgan Greene This story of a gutsy young investigator for the International Trade Organization gets way than she bargained for in this intense diabolical story of money power and a very ruthless man in Bolivia Although this is not the type of book I normally read I thoroughly enjoyed it and was on the edge of my seat than once I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes a book with some twists and turns great characters and with lots of intrigue Morgan Greene Morgan Greene has a way of writing that keeps you hanging onto the edge of your seat this was no different The depth of the characters the feeling that you re in the thick of it with them another great standalone from Morgan I don t know how he manages to produce such quality every time but he does You won t regret reading this or any of his other books Morgan Greene
