Book Save the Date For a cowboy bebop Ford meets Elizabeth who is sitting outside of the rehearsal meal She doesn t seem to want to be there any than he does They end up having a wonderful weekend that they know will have to end because of previous plans Ford does encourage Elizabeth to step out of her routine I have loved all of Jennie Marts books especially the Western ones There is just something about cowboys This one has just the right amount of sweet and spice Jennie Marts This is a prequel novella to the Lassiter Ranch series I previously read this novella when it was released in the Wedding Tails A Limited Edition Romance Anthology in February 2023 I truly enjoyed reading this wonderful story again I love the main two characters so much A name came make you achieve and it also can be an albatross that you carry around Ford Lassiter was named after the type of truck his father drove Not a positive attachment since him and two brothers Chevy Dodge and were fathered by different men Elizabeth Cole s name is perfectly okay but her nickname is not She has been attached to the name Bitsy since her younger brother could not pronounce Betsy Nicknames can be fun sometimes but if the person finds it offensive that is what honestly matters My mother was nicknamed Fatty and heard that almost her entire life Her extended family thought it was fine but I never did and my mother just accepted it Because of that I identify with both Ford and Elizabeth and know how hurtful it can be. Mystery Save the Date For a cowboy hat I read the novel that follows this prequel and it is one of my favorite romance stories I definitely recommend this emotional story and hope that you love it also Jennie Marts
