1 site_link post a commentOkay I really hope someone picks this up and makes it into a movie because it s soo freaking hilarious and cute From the moment you start the book it has you cracking up and the whole awkward encounter has you feeling really embarrassed for Jeanie Doesn t help that Nathan seems to be enjoying it and making comments I freaking died of laughter Poor Jeanie is going through a divorce and she tries sabotaging the wedding Honestly this is a must read book Nathan was perfect for Jeanie I loved how Nathan was always there for her and how he brought this other side of her that s been missing for a long while Jeanie I loved her her awkwardness and how she was learning things about herself while being alone and with Nathan I loved how she became a sister to Sophia and got all defensive about her.

One of the book s strengths was the spice scenes which were well executed and added a level of excitement However the story as a whole reminded me too much of a very cheesy Hollywood comedy with exaggerated situations and character reactions that felt too contrived and unrealistic. Nathan is a famous Magic Mike connoisseur Okay he s a stripper But he s Magic Mike level stripper He even has his own merchandise Nathan s in town for a big show when he runs into Jeanie and her mango milkshake in the hotel elevator He s immediately attracted to her and is than willing to go along with her crazy wedding crashing plot.
