But this book shows that that isn t always the case I think governments can learn from Sheikh Mujibar Rhaman I think the only two problems I had with this book was that 1 the dialogue seemed a bit forced It didn t seem natural like the dialogue in a cheesy romance And 2 I think the timelines were out of place The initial section about finding Farzad after six years would have been better in the middle rather than the beginning And then there was a major jump between the second section where Afsana meets Shiraj and her daughter s wedding But on the whole I did really like it And I was excited to see that the author lives in my home state It just shows how small the world really is 1955836205 What a wonderful story telling The story moves through the lives of people who are going about their life when suddenly everything changes for ever War brings a lot of destruction.

War on children book This was a period of world history that I was not aware of and the book open my eyes to it in a way hard to forget 1955836205 I won this in a giveaway I was worried when I started that this was just going to be a cheesy romance But it turned out not to be It was really heartbreaking when it addressed the brutalities these women went through during the war I think that in those moments when the author was telling us about all the darkness is where this novel really shined Prior to reading this I didn t even know that Bangladesh has a war to secure their independence So not knowing about this the timelines confused me a bit I couldn t understand why they were talking about the war as if it were over when in just the previous chapter they were dodging bullets I would definitely advise anyone unfamiliar with this war to do a little research before hand so that you re not like me thinking the timelines are wonky I was also fascinated to learn about the Birangona I loved learning that the Bengali President forbid discrimination against them and talked so reverently about them I had hoped that most of the Bengali people would have felt the same way but seldom dowe think about how it changes lives of people through generations The author has tried to highlight the emotional trauma and tribulations that a person and families go through when affected by war This books comes at a pivotal time when there is unrest all around the globe I am sure the after reading this book readers will be able to feel the story and characters come into live The story has a happy ending the authors wishes to send the message of hope at the same time she is asking us to ask ourselves what is that comes out of a war 1955836205
