The world blurring beyond the space she occupied now that s the look of mfing LOVE not much happened in this book lots of telling and not showing however the multiple rounds of romance and banter we got made up for it i don t wanna spoil anything obviously but the storyline the author is weaving for Kamran. Hoe is de duivel ontstaan I feel like not much happens for a good portion of the book The last third of the book picked up significantly in pace but the tempo felt different Although I feel like not much happens in this book the fear tension and story were still gripping Alizeh In this book I felt that Alizeh showed emotions In the first and second books I felt like her character didn t express as many feelings but in this book she does There was definitely a character development and im sure her character developes in the next books Anyway she s sweet and she s slowly winning me over Cyrus Y ALL I THINK I HAVE FOUND MY NEW BOOK BOYFRIEND I need to learn about Cyrus So much information about his past has been revealed and I need this poor tortured sad boy to tell us I know I mentioned it in my other reviews but Cyrus is a mixture of Jacks and Aaron Yup my two other book boyfriends He s so obsessed with Alizeh and the way he would do everything for her only to keep her save made me faint I can t wait to see how things go between him and Alizeh Hehehe AlizehCyrus I swear if this two won t be the couple of this series I m gonna riot Their dynamic is electric with enough tension and chemistry to light up a city Kamran is like a rat for Alizeh Cyrus loves her sooo much and he s so obsessed with her his every thought about Alizeh fills me with a rollercoaster of emotions blushing giggling and sobbing He s the one who truly deserves her and if Tahereh Mafi dares to deny Cyrus his rightful place as endgame I m gonna be her hater Their journey from enemies to lovers complete with betrayals and the threat of a knife to the throat has been nothing short of spellbinding Unfortunately in this book we didn t have lots of AlizehCyrus moments Anyway let s manifest for the next books Kamran He s absolutely insufferable This guy grated on my nerves like nails on a chalkboard Every time he opened his fucking mouth I had to resist the urge to give him a good slap across his infuriatingly ugly face He really needed to learn the art of shutting the hell up This book showcased his flaws in all their glory I wouldn t be surprised if he turns out to be the Adam of this series Other characters Hazan truly holds a special place in my heart His unwavering loyalty to Alizeh paired with his rationality and sanity make him a standout character Imagining him as best friends with Cyrus brings a smile to my face As for Miss Hoda I couldn t agree her incessant chatter drove me up the wall There was this pivotal scene where her non stop talking tested my patience to the limit I had to take a deep breath and remind myself not to hurl my phone across the room And don t even get me started on the kid constantly fixated on breakfast while everyone else was deep in discussion Talk about frustrating All in all it was a good book although I wanted AlizehCyrus moments I highly recommend it but remember that reduce your expectations The first book wasn t that great he d wanted her He d wanted her with an all consuming thirst with the desperation of a man waiting to die.
