Eiko s poor self esteem is getting too grating and she comes across as desperate and kind of pathetic It gives vibes of girls need a boyfriend are nothing without a partner and her repeated apologiesugh Girl you ve got worth And as much as I enjoy the possessive partner trope and having Aren get a bit jealous it still felt like they had big communication fails at the end though they don t think so Manga 3 stars This seems to be winding down while winding up to the end The part about her being an introvert and the translation of slug life being slug it out took me out of the book as I kept thinking of baseball or to fight where that is the exact phrase and it doesn t mean to become a slug under a blanket with your head and arms out When she said she wanted to slug it out I was likeis she that angry I don t get it Does she have excess energy While that translation may have been direct becoming one with the slugs or become a slug would have been better Do we need to slug it out translators So with the slower and uneven pacing mixed with the poor translation had this almost at a 3 star rating but there were enough cute moments to keep it barely holding on to the 3. 5 stars She fainted at least twice in this volume to further the plot which was also annoying I get she is anemic but then joking about how she got an extra nap with one was likedumb Actually 3 stars Manga
