Vol 1 Vices u0026 Virtues Series Book 6 This was my first read from Brookelyn Mosley and it won t be my last Lauryn s story was extremely heartbreaking but I really enjoyed watching her bloom throughout her romance with Asher Asher was an extremely patient and kind man and I was just so happy to see these two individuals that seemed so opposite at first glance become a great couple I loved how natural everything felt because at no time within the story did I feel like there were any plot points that were thrown in just to create unnecessary drama tension I also really loved the underlying commentary within the story about how important it is to see black and brown people in mental health positions I felt like there were so many moments in this story where I would just be crying because the writing was just so beautiful There were funny moments in this for me There were also really intense and deeply sad moments It was just a really great roller coaster ride I love the thought and care that was put into this story so I m definitely going to give Brookelyn Mosley another read WRATH The Love Is Cure.

Her undying love for creating fiction remains unchanged Brookelyn s focus is on creating contemporary women s fiction with characters based in urban settings Her stories chronicles the emotional journeys and erotic experiences of women today through her characters and the scenarios they re thrown into The motivation behind her brand of writing has a lot to do with what she discovered storytelling provided for her an escape Her goal with her work is to create characters and urban worlds that offer a great escape for fiction readers looking for a break from the daily grind of adulting and who prefer to relax with good books and short stories When she s not freelancing.
Wrath of man
And the transformative power of love My initial thoughts on the novel was that this is heavy and a lot to unpack But it s also very detailed and provides understanding for readers What I didn t care for was how people alienated Lauryn even though they didn t know her story Nobody thought hey there s probably a reason for why she is the way he is Also I didn t care for Priscilla or Patricia Overbearing mothers seem to run in Summer s family and I really hate it There s not wrong with just being happy for your child Patricia lacked the understanding that no matter you in still in your children they are still humans and you are not their only influence Lauryn James.
Wrath of the titans
Coupled with an exploration of Lauryn s trauma from past issues adds depth and authenticity to the story The story is very engaging and there is a lot character development I also feel like because it is a slow burn it enhanced the storyline and made for a exciting story There s a lot of depth and authenticity in the story It also details what victims go through after such an ordeal and which makes the story even intriguing Lauryn s character arc was especially beautiful because in my opinion she took back her power for the person that hurt and that was riveting Patricia is such a despicable human being I needed her to get the treatment Stacia was going to get in that restaurant I hated her character because she looked down on Lauryn and people who aren t considered upper echelon overall It s sickening And I see Priscilla hasn t changed either If Patricia had a heart attack at that table I would ve been so happy The way she tried to finesse Lauryn into getting an abortion was so disgusting Talking about it s your body and your choice and don t tell Asher Despicable But while I had to deal with these horrible people the story also had some A grade supporting character in the form of Jayce.
Wrath of man
Summer and Aunt Evelyn They added a little comedic relief which was beneficial to the story due to it being so heavy It gave the story the perfect balance Asher was so supportive even when he didn t agree with the abortion He was clearly hurt but he exhibited so much altruism The conversation Asher had with Lauryn s father was highly anticipated by me The entire book I was like when am I gonna see him It was like that visit with Asher and hearing everything that was happening for Lauryn gave him life He definitely found his reason again This chapter had me so emotional because it just felt like after so many years he exhaled after holding his breath for so long I understand how he felt responsible for what happened to Lauryn and the entire situation at large but in my opinion that visit definitely granted him solice At its core.

actually attract I have issues that are way too deep to solve A life that was ruined before it could really begin My past is way too dark to see light anywhere in it and yet he s looked past all I but it can take on a moral quality that is rooted in intent Wrath in this context is a strong feeling of resentment and a thirst for revenge Like every vice there is its heavenly virtue One that overcomes and transforms the opposing vice And patience is wrath s countering virtue But can the patient one soothe the wrath in another transmuting this vice by providing refuge with reason and love Or will this wrath be too great and too justified that it ends up consuming them both WRATH is a standalone and book six in the Love is Cure Vol 1 Vices Virtues series WRATH contains references to
