Wanting His girloon Yet again Ms Banks does another outstanding job with this instant love romance She does a remarkable job with literary devices Her characters are strong independent yet vulnerable This character driven plot moves at a steady pace The dialog both conversational and internal monologues allow readers to get an in depth understanding of the lead characters The camaraderie amongst the Andrew brothers especially their banter is enjoyable Ms Banks paints vivid scenes that pull readers into each scene I enjoyed the way Ms Banks personalized each of the brothers stories I am a bit sad that this series ends with this installment Great job Ms Banks 55 Didn t like not swoon worthy to meBefore reading this book I read the reviews and decided to go for it But the reviews definitely weren t accurate and I feel disappointed The premise of Jake taking advantage of his fame to have flings and one night stands really set the story to fail for me Three things he declared that bothered me 1 Meanwhile here I am on my way to being the eternal bachelor uncle It s not like I haven t had chances Being a retired pro baseball player has its advantages But lately all those flings and one night stands feel hollow Especially when I think about her 2 I ve dated plenty of women 3 Melanie I start I ve been around the block times than I care to admit But with you it s like I m seeing everything for the first time again From the first one I understood that he is a casual dater and is still having one night stands even thinking about her The second is self explanatory he s been around plenty And the third made me mad and sad for her because he basically admitted to her that he s been with many women Not romantic How can he see everything for the first time again if he has slept with many women He might feel different or connected to her in a way it hasn t before but don t say you re seeing EVERYTHING for the first time It felt like a lie And a comparison All this made their first time like nothing special Like it was one of his one night stands with Melanie just that he wanted than one And the office sex also made me cringe felt like that s what he did before sex in his office with his flings and when mentioning his apartment above the bar with a worn out couch Even the sex scenes felt emotionless and low connection between them As I wrote him being a casual dater set the rest for failure to me Not swoon worthy And to top it off move in with me Not marry me I want forever with you Age Gap Virgin Heroine What I thought this was a cute story sweet with a little spice Gotta love the instalove.
