Are Jane Austen and Charlotte Bront site_link Gave this a high 4 Paullett Golden is one of my favorite authors and she wrote a clean heartfelt romance about two very different people in this one Alistair was half Persian and Isobel was a daydreamer author She spent most of her days writing to her heart s content while writing gothic novels Besides having a slow burn romance thus also had a mystery Something was happening at night and it feels like ghosts walking the halls Overall I enjoyed it and loved seeing how together this couple brought out the best in each other I purchased this novel and definitely recommend this 429 A Spark of Romance is the third installment of Golden s Romantic Encounters series Isobel is a shy but sweet Gothic writer.

What is a spark in a relationship 5 Another great installment in this series I believe Isobel would be my best friend in this little quaint village world that Golden has created I really love seeing old characters and meeting new ones and getting to know the main characters Isobel and Alistair are seriously the sweetest Isobel s imagination runs away from her and I love it The stories she makes up while the world spins around her are entertaining The creative solutions she comes up with for her hero Alistair would be much interesting than the practical ideas that actually get her out of her funny scenarios. Sparks of fiction pdf Alistair Trowbridge is preparing to write a new chapter in his life with this ladylove What he had not planned was his father s perceived villainy instigating Isobel s descent into flights of fancy or is it madness Join Isobel and Alistair in this lighthearted Gothic satire as they discover the skeletons behind the locked door turning adventure into romance Paullett Golden 429 I had the pleasure of beta reading this gem for the incredible Paullett Golden whose talent I am I m complete awe of I originally started reading Golden s work when it was a much higher steam level which she excelled at by the way and was unsure if I would like the change to closed door romance But to be honest I think I am even impressed than I was before And now she s stepped out yet again moving in the gothic romance direction and I m debating begging her to do of this style of book The Northanger Abbey vibes are strong with this one This is very much the story of Isobel and Alistair s courtship and its various struggles We learn about both their families and meeting Alistair s father is where the mysteries begin I don t want to give too much away but this book has all the beautiful things we know and love from a Golden romance elegant prose with characters that leap off the page and are deep and complex and such a detailed setting you can t help but become immersed Building tension in a romantic setting is not easy to do but building tension with some scary elements as well And having them stand apart from each other That my friends is masterful and part of what sets Paullett apart from all the other regency writers out there These books are SO much I have loved them all but I think I love this one just this much 429 A Spark of Romance My fellow romance I am normally a huge fan of this writers books and I still am I recently read and reviewed this book and I found my self stuck on the fence on so many things in regards to to book I guess the first question would be did I enjoy the book Yes but not in my usual Heck yeah This book was awesome I know and understand that this book version is different from her previous books It s on the clean side which I am perfectly fine with but I feel that too much of something was there or the two worlds did not connect in certain common sense I understand in todays world about diversity but back then truly these two worlds collided I m being truthful here but Alistair home language really Deterred me from the book the further that I continued with the book I truly tried to connect with his and Isobel s relationship but I spent time on interpreting what the poor chap meant The story is also a very slow pace I was looking for the excitement and engaging action that our main characters would find themselves involved in early the story Adding the three young brothers did bring some colorful light to the story I appreciate that the writer did write the heroine s age range in over the age of twenty four As I said before this writer usually drops some brilliant and phenomenal books I will continue to read her books Until next time my fellow readers Read on 429

Have you ever desired to read a book that gives you Jane Eyre vibes but also makes you laugh at times If you answered yes then Spark of Romance is the book you re looking for I really enjoyed Isobel and Alistair s story The peeks that the reader got to have into Isobel s mind and imagination were exciting And Alistair was a perfect gentleman The mystery and the romance drew you in I just wish there were a few kisses Once the climax of the mystery came Paulett did a great job keeping the reader engaged until the resolution Which ended in a positive light and all lived happily ever after This book also contains several shorts at the end which were also enjoyable to read I think than the book I ve enjoyed getting to know Paulett over Instagram There s nothing like a fellow Jane Eyre lover 429 Flights of Fancy .
