This would have to be Adele Jones best book yet A wonderful story and yet again something I haven t read elsewhere Wonderfully entertaining story about a girl with a beautiful voice who begins to disappear after being exposed to a frequency based experiment. Book Signal erased project It continues in the Blaine Colton world and I was glad that Blaine and Sophie were in it if only briefly I also liked Rennie from Immortal Mistake and was glad to see of him In spite of initially disliking Chase he grew on me as did Cassidy. Book Signal erased manga Highly recommended Paperback It must be said that the front cover of this book is exquisite It is difficult to tell from the picture but the detail is fantastic and the embossed title and image is incredible Amazing work by Carmen Dougherty and the design team at Rhiza Edge. Book Signal erased project Signal Erased will have you hooked with its intrigue from the very beginning So much so that it will be difficult for the reader to stop once they begin Anna has a gift for singing but she doesn t realise how much of a gift until she alters a scientific experiment through the use of song The people involved will stop at nothing until they get what they want from her Even if it means Anna s very existence might disappear forever. Book Signal erased manga After being bridesmaid at her sister s wedding Anna accepts a lift from the popular and good looking guy Chase from her school But after some reckless driving Anna finds herself making her way home alone only to be kidnapped for a science experiment that leaves her invisible and unheard by those around her Jones creates a realistic science fiction parallel within the storyline that continually raises the stakes for Anna before she disappears forever. Book Signal erased characters Anna s situation becomes complicated as she is forced to rely on Rennie her new brother in law who up until now has been relatively invisible to her The connections between the characters in this story are very well written and enjoyable to read as they unfold Not forced or rushed but caring and tender Adding a lovely level of sensitivity to the high stake s storyline You don t need to understand anything about science fiction or frequency waves This book will still keep you wondering about the outcome until the very end Jones s writing style is easy to read humorous at times and always well crafted to create a seamless flow throughout the story This book is a high stakes action story that also leans into relationships and being vulnerable Signal Erased is suitable for a 12 readership Paperback Excited to read Adele Jone s Signal Erased I thoroughly enjoyed her Blaine Colton trilogy and the sequel Immortal Mistake which tells Blaine s half brother Rennie s story Anna the main character in Signal Erased has cameo appearances in the earlier books but comes into her own in this story with Rennie being a big part of the story Anna Faraday s perfect pitch gets her into deep trouble when she stumbles on a weird physics experiment at her school Somehow the resonances her voice causes has changed her and the way she interacts with the world as she begins to fade or slip away When no one sees you no one can hear you or even touch you when you can t eat or drink how do you get help how do you survive Anna finds herself in a desperate race to find help from her friends and to reverse the changes that have occurred while countering the greedy self serving schemes of the half crazy physics teacher and his scary assistant The book is fast paced with high stakes lots of feels witty banter and a sweet romance threaded through the drama I love that Rennie is a big part of this but I also like that his rival Chase is presented as than just a handsome shallow rich boy in love with speed and himself that he first appears to be A wonderful YA technological thriller worth reading Paperback Adele Jones is adept at writing complex scientific concepts and topics that lay readers accept and understand As with her former books my novice eyes flow smoothly over the pages Her latest book is my favourite as her heroine is a singer song writer As a musician I could really immerse myself in the horror that Anna s gift of singing might be turned against her That her beautiful voice might be exploited for a secret frequency based experiment that alters her atomic state Indeed Jones is a singer herself and I was privileged to enjoy her book launch where she set a high bar by singing the song described in her own book After reading this I really wish I could hear a recording to better enjoy the relevance and beauty As ever the Metaphor Queen Adele excels herself with gems like his eyes locked with hers like a bolt catching into a latch eyes narrowed like pincers His face reddened as if stuck over a pot of boiling water Let us hope that Adele Jones can soon give up her day job in science to write books for her voracious reader fans Paperback
