Second chance romance with plenty of angst and lots of humor Loved how they were able to expand their family Sadie King I hate when they describe a character that doesn t match the cover It was said he had red hair Even the baby had his red firey orange hair and the cover is brown hair Sadie King This second chance love of Hope and Dexter is a great read It is well written and kept me glued to the pages from start to finish As you d expect with a Sadie King story it has a great plot story line and is so sweet when her main characters find their Happily ever after. Knocked up am i too old to be here I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review Sadie King Hope and Dexter s story was one of my favorites from Sadie I loved the secret baby trope and Dex was an absolute amazing and wonderful guy I loved how he volunteered for foster kids.

Dexter is a demolition man and he likes to throw axes Talking about manly man When Hope walked into the local he felt like he was in a dream and fell for her After their night together he freaks her out and she runs away because she thinks he is literally an axe murderer A year later she goes back with her sister and her husband with the baby Justin to tell Dexter that he is a daddy Grace and Calvin are so cool The interaction between Hope and Grace is hilarious Justin is adorable and Ty the boy Dexter helps out is adorable and a great kid he just needs someone to look up to Things get a bit freaky for a while and there are a bunch of misunderstandings on both sides This book is funny steamy romantic we have seen him a few times in the series but here we get to see the real Dexter and you cannot do anything but fall in love with the big rough guy who has no filter but gives so much of himself to others He is desperate to love but holds no hope of being loved in return which just breaks my heart Thankfully Hope and Ty see through his awkwardness and accept him for the beautiful human he is axes and all However there are a number of typos which interrupt the flow of this book simple incorrect words such as ever instead of every buy instead of guy and yours instead of years. PDF Knocked up cast but with these mistakes the sentences make no sense so you have to go back and reread to then work out the correct word If these were corrected it would be a five star book for me as Dexter is just so good and adorable. Knocked up streaming Dexter and Hope met a year ago and had a one night affair Nine months later Hope gives birth to a boy and names him Justin A few months after that Hope wants to find Dexter to let him know he s a father Hope s sister Grace and brother in law Calvin goes with her to Clearwater to help her out All the guys at Clearwater Construction advise Dexter to stop going to the bar he s been going to for the past year looking for Hope Dexter is giving it one last shot going to the bar in hopes of finding Hope When Hope walks in Dexter can t believe his eyes she finally came back Hope goes to talk to Dexter telling him she need to talk to him Dexter asks her if she wants to have dinner with him but her sister Grace is waiting for her so she declines Hope agrees to met with Dexter the next morning Hope finds herself outside of an industrial place and when she walks inside she can hear men talking Dexter comes to find her and she finds out it s ax throwing Hope gets a set of axes When they are done Hope asks Dexter to take her to get some ice cream When they re there Dexter runs into the young man Tyler he s been working with that s in the foster care system Hope tells him how sweet he s being to Tyler soon Dexter is kissing her When Hope realizes her milk let down she tells Dexter she needs to go Dexter tries to go after her but then Tyler calls to him asking him to watch a new trick he learned on his skateboard After Hope gets back to the hotel she tells her sister about her date with Dexter Later Dexter sends a message to Hope asking her if she ll have a date with him she agrees Dexter is waiting at the Italian restaurant and Hope is running late when she arrives she tells him she didn t have time to do her hair or makeup After they order they talk about their past Hope finds out that Dexter grew up in foster care Dexter finds out that Hope s mom passed away when she was eight in a care accident Hope s father raised her and her sister Grace all on his own When they are cleaning up the restaurant Dexter tells Hope they need to leave while walking to her car Dexter pulls Hope into an alleyway and kisses her Then Dexter pleasures Hope but when they hear voices he covers her back up After Dexter walks Hope to her car she tells him she needs to talk to him he suggest they met for breakfast Dexter starts to think about what Hope might have to tells him and when he starts to think that she doesn t want him he wants to let her know how he feels about her So Dexter follows Hope back to her hotel but loses her at a red light Dexter knows there s only a few hotels that Hope could be staying at so he heads to the other side of town Dexter soon finds Hope s car then sees her climb the stairs after she uses her key a man steps out of her door with a baby Dexter doesn t know that it s Hope s brother in law Calvin Then Dexter watches as Hope takes the baby and cuddles with him Dexter heads back to his home and heads down to the basement where he has his axes and starts throwing them The next morning Hope heads out to met Dexter and finds him sitting on a bench Dexter asks Hope with the baby is and she tells him his name is Justin Dexter asks her if she was going to tell him she tells him she was waiting for the right time Dexter asks Hope why she came back what does she want Hope tells him she thought he would be happy to see them she tells him she thought he was someone who cared she tells him that his son is better off without him in his life Dexter can t believe Hope just told him he s a father she leaves Two hours later Dexter is sitting with Tyler who he told they would go to the laser tag but instead are eating pizza Soon he s getting advice from Tyler who s twelve years old Tyler tells Dexter to go and get his girl Dexter asks him if he s sure he doesn t mind getting dropped off early When Dexter explains how he followed her and watched her with her partner Hope explains to him that that s her brother in law Dexter tells Hope he s trying to make sense of his feelings and he loves her Hope explains to Dexter how she tried to make sense of what happened Dexter asks her why she didn t come and find her to let him know Hope tells him the last time they seen one another he was chasing her down the road with an ax Hope tells him that she didn t want Justin to grow up not knowing who his father is but Dexter tells her he would make a terrible father Dexter tells her he never had a father growing up so he doesn t even know what to do Hope asks him if he would like to give it a try Dexter tells Hope he would if he can do it with her Dexter tells Hope he s been lost without her this last year he s been waiting at the bar every Friday night for her Dexter tells her he wants them to be a family Hope tells Dexter she doesn t need him to be a better man just be himself it s who she fell in love with Dexter takes Hope to her room where he pleasures her then they make love Dexter tells her he loves her and Hope tells him she loves him One year later Dexter is waiting at the end of the aisle for Hope to walk down Dexter is worried that she won t show up but Tyler reassures him that she ll be there Dexter adopted Tyler three months ago and Hope was all in For the first time in Dexter life he doesn t feel like he s mess up he feels like a winner Dexter won the game of life he didn t mess o ltimo livro e eu n o podia deixar de ler o ltimo livro ainda mais depois de ver um pouco do Dex no livro anterior Mas eu j imaginava que n o curtiria a hist ria porque n o curto tramas de segundas chances e menos ainda tramas envolvendo beb s secretos. Knocked up actress O livro at prendeu a minha aten o no come o e talvez eu at tivesse gostado um pouquinho mais se n o fosse pela demora da Hope em contar ao Dex sobre o filho Eu j n o estava ok com o fato dela ter escondido o fato por um ano mas ela teve uma impress o errada dele por culpa dele mesmo diga se de passagem e foi compreens vel essa relut ncia dela Mas depois de tudo ser esclarecido ela ainda enrolou demais A coisa se arrastou o livro INTEIRO e claro que ele descobriu tudo da pior maneira poss vel numa situa o que deu a entender que Hope estava casada e o beb era do outro e que estava traindo o cara com Dex o usando para relembrar os velhos tempos Enfim foi uma bagun a s e desandou o que j n o estava bom Eu s n o dei meia estrela pelo ep logo e o ep logo b nus Se a hist ria tivesse sido mais como eles teria sido melhor Mas nem mesmo isso deu pra salvar pra mim Passei muita raiva durante a leitura e s queria que tudo acabasse logo Mas repito eu n o gosto de tramas assim ent o isso influenciou minha opini o Pra quem gosta talvez n o ligue para a enrola o que a Hope faz aqui Leia por sua conta e risco Sadie King
