Everything but the girl discography The premise itself is a fine one not great or anything but fine girl meets girl Girl dislikes girl Girl and girl must room together out of necessity Girl and girl fall in love It should be very straightforward and yet this book is almost too simple The characters go from zero to one hundred in under six seconds and the scenes skip and jump about instead of transitioning normally The characters are flat paper cut outs without anything really interesting about them and their struggles with their feelings are hardly struggles at all There was no genuine transition from one emotion to the next It bummed me out because here I thought we could have had a fun romp between enemies turned friends turned lovers if the authors actually gave it a chance to blossom Not enough happened to justify their love or their anxiety or their arguments Oh and the shameless way the authors self promoted was irritating I don t know maybe I m too much of a snob for light contemporary reads such as these Like I said I liked it mostly because it was a lesbian romance but I didn t really 1. Everything but the girl songs missing lyrics 5 5 English What do you do when you have a successful career good friends a loving family but have yet to meet the love of your life Strangers Joy and Carol show up at the same time to look at a rental Both are desperate to find an apartment for different reasons desperate enough to agree to share the space and hope for the best It turns out they are lovely together and their blossoming relationship holds great promise until Carol s ex causes Joy to doubt her future with Carol This book is perfect if you desire a sweet read light on the angst One of the best unexpected aspects of this story was the endearing upstairs neighbors Fern the Fairy and dapper Beryl I would love a romance about those two intriguing characters English Bought it by mistakeThis was one of the worst books I ve ever read It was 200 pages and I couldn t finish it Needless to say I don t recommend it English
