Cozy kind of way that makes you want to sip some tea and finish the book in one sitting I found myself interested in every single character even the episodic ones and it felt good to read a romcom where everyone has a personality for once. Book Yuzu candy crush What keeps me from giving it 5 stars this is a debut novel and I think the author can go on to write some great literature but there s still a bit of that first novel awkwardness in there I find it charming though Its a story that s sweet and satisfying but not something absolutely memorable that I see myself thinking of 6 months from now when I can t sleep. Yuzu candyonline Kinda want Alice Tuinz Provided a copy by Voracious Readers Only This does not affect my review in anyway Major spoilers below The dynamics between the two MCs was really good at the start and the artwork was beautifully done matching the tone However there were a lot of things that discouraged me from continuing It felt like there were gaps in explaining the plot and the character development For example the very laid back Adam not being the most responsible does not lead into him having a child fighting for custody It felt like the plot and character background were decided after the beginning was written This is personal preference but the pregnancy trope coupled with everyone dismissing her taking advantage of Adam did not bode well Even if they are bigger or physically attracted in the moment does not mean alcohol cannot cloud your judgement or impair your movements It made little sense that she was able to hide her pregnancy with twins for 4 months and not tell Adam the father The piece de resistance is the relationship between Yui s father and Adam s sister Especially that Yui s father KNEW who he was sleeping with and purposefully created chaos There was potential with the characters created with some changes to the plot and writing in detail I apologise if this is viewed as harsh.

Book Yuzu candytopia What I loved first It s fresh feel good down to earth and low key I feel like a lot of the super overused tropes are there enemies to lovers for instance but written in a low conflict and I m so happy it was the one I got to start with It s a sweet read and it keeps you guessing all the way to the end. Yuzu Candy book I liked the mature approach to the characters that are multidimensional than the cookie cutter good girl bad boy duo you usually find in chick lit Some scenes were hilarious but I wouldn t really call it a comedy maybe like slice of life I think the author risked a bit approaching some nuanced situations in a human flawed way rather the moral staple and frankly I found it refreshing Yui and Adam are not perfect and neither are their families this is merely my personal opinion Alice Tuinz 2. Yuzu candytuft perennial 5 stars rounded up to 3This was an okay read The beginning started off pretty strong and I liked the meet cute between Adam and Yui Unfortunately as the book progressed my enjoyment waned. Yuzu candyman The characters were likeable though I wasn t a particular fan of Ana Those who went through character development did so quicker than I anticipated for me Yui s character felt completely different the moment the presentation ended and those who didn t were a rather forgettable The plot was okay but second half of the novel felt like a general cobbling together of various tropes. Yuzu candyrat Everything after Spain was messy and frustrating Yui faces one conflict after another while Adam deals with his own issues that literally come out of nowhere This would be fine if there was any insight to the characters or the plot Any details or explanations felt only surface level and whatever care that was put the in first half of the book seemed to be put aside so another curve ball can be thrown at the couple Unfortunately by the end I was rolling my eyes a bit at the happy ending because honestly I wasn t completely sure how they got there.
