After Hours suspense thriller 5 stars I read this as a standalone I don t read m f but that wasn t a problem I really liked the MCs and the slow burn fit exactly I love reading a double hurt comfort and this was very well done The ending was excellent Watch the triggers especially the scene at the beginning is quite graphic unfortunately very correct Romance Suspense Gay and Lesbian Good story about love loss and new beginnings. Book after hours doctor Who would have thought a relationship that began as a threesome stopped halfway through could lead to an amazing love story that conquered grief and loneliness and let a truly nice guy finish first This poignant and emotional story releases April 4 Romance Suspense Gay and Lesbian This story is actually so sad It does lead to hope and to a future of love but what happened to Henry was just so tragic and unfair and left Nash so broken that in some moments I even hoped that Nash and Edgar didn t end up together But then as we only see the beginning of them I found myself thinking about maybe Nash and Edgar in 30 years and that Edgar could very well be Nash s actual soul mate Anyway this is one of those stories that stir an internal discussion inside of my mind which makes it interesting and special Definitely worth reading if you can cope with death and grief which is the central theme Romance Suspense Gay and Lesbian I loved this story about Nash and Edgar Nash with his insecurities Edgar also has a past Nash has everything but actually nothing Like many people you have your life in order you think but this loneliness You sit sleep and eat alone The death of his first love has left deep marks Traces that resurface when he meets someone again I actually cried when I read this book Until he meets Edgar It really takes trial and error but in the end things work out between the two It is a beautifully written story Really recommended Romance Suspense Gay and Lesbian 
I m not sure what I was expecting going into it but this was so much than I thought it would be It tells a beautiful story of love after loss and describes how hard it can be to move on Even close to a decade later all of the emotions are still there and fresh and make it so hard to consider wanting a good thing Nash and Edgar are two forces revolving around each other Unable to let go but unable to collide I love that Nash took the time he needed to start healing and helped Edgar start to heal as well They were so precious together while ensuring each other boundaries and needs were at the forefront It s not as spicy as I was expecting and is kind of a slow burn but it absolutely worked for them I received a complimentary copy of this book but this is my honest and voluntary opinion Romance Suspense Gay and Lesbian I had the privilege of getting an ARC of After Hours And let me tell you it did not disappoint I instantly fell in love with Nash Edgar even though in previous KOA books I didn t feel like I would have a connection with them After Hours is a MM romance with some BDSM There are other trigger warnings so check those out before reading if needed This is the 4th book in the KOA series but can be read as a standalone. Book After hours arrival After Hours is definitely fast paced which I appreciated I feel like some books can drag on forever but this one did not I do wish the book was a little longer or had an extended epilogue with a year or two later However I know there are KOA books coming so I m sure we will see plenty of Nash Edgar I am so happy to see this series grow and I can t wait to see what s next Romance Suspense Gay and Lesbian Nash and Edgar have been broken by life only to find each other as long as they don t get in their own way Beware the warnings a lot of emotional stuff happens in this rather short novel but it ends with a solid HEA Both men have decided they won t find love for vastly different reasons and following as they navigate their feelings and find each other made for a sweet emotional satisfying read I was just fine reading it as a standalone but I did wish it d been longer It s fast paced which was good overall but left me wanting for certain non romance parts like on Edgar s work situation Romance Suspense Gay and Lesbian everyone deserves to find love and happinessThis was a lovely slow burn about two lonely me who deserve to know love Nash faced tragedy at 17 when he loses his first love and best friend shortly after that he loses his parents in a car crash and raises his younger sister doing his best to give her a good life putting his grief to one side. After hour sol de janeiro I was so tired of hearing about Henry the kid who died And the interesting part about his death comes up at the 91% mark Not because it s a mystery or a plot twist apparently because it s so insignificant what happened to the two other boys from the opening drowning scene it s a footnote Four 17 year old friends who just graduated horsing around on a dock drinking the other two playfully push Henry and Nash into the lake Henry hits his head on something and dies instantly Like the same minute Nash tries CPR and isn t successful This is mentioned throughout the book clearly a traumatic event No mention of the other two friends Suddenly we find out NO QUOTES Nash tells Edgar what happened when he Henry Owen and Perry were on the dock after graduation drinking having a grand old time and Perry and Owen playfully shoved them into the water.
