Epub rogues u0026 patriots rogues I did at times struggle to follow the jumps in plot Perhaps I read too fast Perhaps it was a connection to book 1 While these pulled be out of the book at the time I found I could quickly re immerse and was none the worse for wear Crane s actions were logical and consistent with his character The same was true of the side characters LAPD detective Tony Bott and Crane s partner Bobby Moore Standing at the end and looking to the front I have a hard time figuring out the logic and goals of the bad guys I suspect some of this may stem from not reading book one and the full resolution coming in book three. Rogues & Patriots kindle unlimited If you re a fan of hardcore detectives and political conspiracy thrillers give Rogues Patriots a try I do suggest starting with Book 1 27 Days to get the full set up Rogues u0026 Patriots A Nick Crane Thriller What a ride Mr Moore has spun one hell of a yarn It has action intrigue espionage murder and terrorism all rolled into a fantastic story The book centers around Nick Crane a private investigator based in LA who is akin to Sam Spade It seems that Nick has many contacts in high and low places and a good portion of those contacts want to end him The storyline consists of four different cases rolled into one We are introduced to ICE agents refugees corruption and a homegrown plot to instigate terrorism on US soil to mention a few but there s so much Although this is book two in the Nick Crane saga it would definitely work as a standalone The storyline is consistent and jampacked with action and intrigue I m a person who does not normally read this particular genre and for the story to keep my attention is saying a lot The last hundred pages had me literally holding my breath to see how things would pan out.
