The three witches of miltontown fl The writing is jumpy and disjointed which appears to be an intentional choice on the author s part It s kind of a stream of consciousness approach Really not feeling this one The Three Witches of Milton A Gaskell Austen and Bront Crossover Criss Cross Crossovers From the moment I begun the first few pages I was hooked in The author s voice is strong and unique and to be honest made the book quite the delicious read It is the kind of book that made me want to read it aloud to fully appreciate the prose and sentiment expressed and indeed at times I found myself rereading a sentence just to properly savour it And I feel intelligent from having completed this novel What a bonus The author dealt to the MMC plight with a humour and wit was admirable and later the FMC s situation with a tenderness and empathy that was warming I could really feel that the author had absorbed the worlds and characters of these treasured authors wholly and fully and her respect for their works was evident in her writing It was delightful to come across familiar turns of phrase from each of them woven throughout. Book the three witches of milton township I was frustrated at the incredibly repetitive self pitying thoughts of Margaret I was bored enough that I fell asleep at least four times while reading I only pushed through to the end to prove to my husband that I could That being said I was occasionally amused by the inner thoughts of the three witches even going so far as sending my sisters my favorite quote Miss Thornton was in Miss Bingley s estimation a thoroughly puerile creature a wooden spoon if you will a foozler of the most irksome degree and so she was easy to persuade making it no effort at all to bend her to her will rendering her Miss Bingley s witless mimic The Three Witches of Milton A Gaskell Austen and Bront Crossover Criss Cross Crossovers As an avid fan of North South I truly enjoy fan written works that further John and Margaret s story The original book and miniseries end right as they get together so for those of us who love these two characters it s a special treat to read about what their life together might look like This author is so talented at capturing the character s spirits and what we might expect their internal dialogue to sound like This is the second book written by Caroline that I have enjoyed and I can t wait for the next one The Three Witches of Milton A Gaskell Austen and Bront Crossover Criss Cross Crossovers
