The mobster accountant and the neonatologist I have really enjoyed this series As someone who has read Sabine s previous series in this world where Finn has popped up from time to time I was curious to read who his match was going to be One of the things I love about her writing is the strong family bonds and dynamics as well as the diversity of characters she incorporates I especially love reading the family dynamic between siblings and cousins For those that may not be familiar she incorporates Gaelic language Which for someone like me with Irish roots I just love that if it s included and people get to see it Mob Star can be read as a standalone novel however I believe you get a better picture when you have read her other books within the Dark Mafia series Overall I am really enjoying the Irish chapters of this world Trigger warning the book does have some scenes that include some darker naughtier BDSM themes Would and have recommended to others Looking forward to see which O Rourke family member will fall next. Mlb standings 2024 W I have to say as a new reader of Sabine Barclay s work I knowingly dived into uncharted territories Barclay warns her readers of the expectations within the work and I willingly took on the challenge Now I must read all of the other installments or it will feel incomplete But to be honest I will have to re read this incredible work Foremost if you are not open to exploring new things in your romantic reads this may not be for you Some of the scenes foray into what many would shun I personally could never be that brave but as the reader I was able to experience it through the characters and cheered on Barclay s bravery in writing such a deeply intense work that bared open the darkest fantasies and fears of her lovable characters Secondly she understands the lives of the characters she has created They are each so authentically real that I experienced their thrills and heartaches along the journey Barclay weaved. Mlb standings 2024 This was personally a difficult read for me because it wasn t a cut and dry straightforward romance novel It has so many pathways that must be understood and followed but Barclay does a great job of breaking it down for readers like myself so we understand the relationships and can make heads and tails of what s taking place My only drawback is the amount of talking and explanations the lead characters had during every intimate scene I believe at one point I asked myself Are they really having this particular discussion while in that particular moment In ways it fit the characters I suppose and was funny at moments but it honestly became quite distracting I found myself saying Man stop talking and take care of her already In conclusion do not be afraid to re read this work It is well worth it before moving on to the next brother s story to discover the world Barclay has made so real and engaging for her readers.
