Amy s friends continue to investigate her death Cassie is charged with identity theft after hacking Amy s glasses to find clues about what happened to her Amy realizes her feelings for Oliver Edelweiss Stephen McCranie s Space Boy Volume 20 Full disclosure I received a free e ARC for review through Edelweiss Content warning for PTSD 3. 5 stars rounded up to 4 where necessary So here we are on Volume 20 of the series and Amy is just now realizing that she likes Oliver I ve said before that SPACE BOY moves at a leisurely snail s pace but c mon now Anyway Volume 20 opens with a very reluctant Sherman bringing Cassie in to the Kokomo Police Department for questioning and ends with rogue ex cop Sherman reaching out to Karena now living under an assumed identity to help him chase down one of Cassie s leads In between Amy faces down the Wanderer using her own trauma as a weapon against the strange being She also finds Dr Kim passed out in his lab thanks in no small part to Proto who has a real Uncanny Valley thing going on in one panel Sophie Brix reaches out to the bunny who told me I am loved Langley realizes that there s a mole at the FCP and Zeph continues a deep dive into Amy s Net Gear glasses against Cassie s wishes As always the story is engaging if painfully slow to unfold We haven t seen much of the Wanderer for a little while so it s great to see him resurface here And I think McCranie might be teasing a romance between Meisha and Zeph Maybe Here s a breakdown of the episodes contained in each TPB Sometimes I borrow the books from the library other times I receive early electronic review copies online and to bridge the gaps in between.
