Yellow, Red, Green–– GO! epub.pub The illustrations are very detailed and hold familiar scenes These allow for a little exploration and will have listeners discovery small things they didn t notice before when revisiting the read This is part of a series which introduces first building blocks to math logic There s also a Spanish edition I believe available So this book has a lot to offer I received a DRC and found this to be well done Ellen Mayer This is a Children s book that I read to my twin boys I found this book to be just ok The book shows patterns while they are on their way to Grandma s house I do not think it really holds my kids attention I received an ARC of this book This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are Ellen Mayer This board book about patterns is super sweet short and fun to read The most important part of the story in my opinion is the note to parents and caregivers on the first page It encourages adults to practice finding patterns in their everyday lives with their kiddos with fantastic examples of how easily this can be done I m always here for a kid s book that helps teach grown ups too I would highly recommend purchasing this book for kids ages 1 to 2 as a simple way to introduce this early math concept While I haven t read the rest Yellow Red Green GO is part of a board book series called Small Talk Books filled with stories focused on different early math concepts If you like this one check out the others Bonus the book is in both English and Spanish Thank you NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review Ellen Mayer I enjoyed this book very much and look forward to sharing it with my toddler grandson The plot is simple and sweet the math concept of patterns is clearly and organically shown and the art is cheerful and appealing Seems ideal for an adult reader and young child to enjoy together Ellen Mayer This is an engaging book on patterns for little ones During a joyful bike ride with mom to visit grandma a child finds patterns everywhere Beautifully written and illustrated this book shows how to make math hands on and fun through everyday activities Ellen Mayer
