I was so excited to be an ARC reader of this collection I have been obsessed with John and Miriam since reading Dairy of Murders and anything that lets me back into there world I am going to enjoy I can honestly say this collection of short stories is perfection We have of the John and Miriam I love I have to say Miriam is honestly one of my biggest fictional girl crushes right now but the new character it was a wonderfully written collection of short stories It was fantastic to be reading about the characters from A Diary Of Murders again The stories were wonderful some spicy and others made my heart ache I loved every minute of it 9781739347048 A really adorable collection of stories for Diary of Murders fans You get amazing insight into the characters and if you loved them in book 1 you ll love them even in this one So much of John and Miriam add Micheal and Adelaine to it with new characters and it s the perfect gift for DOM fans Sarah s writing makes it so much beautiful that you can t help but love the characters even 9781739347048 I really wanted to give it a 5 but it felt a bit disconnected in some parts I love Diary of Murders and I felt that the flow was broken in some parts Overall a good book and I can t wait for the next one 9781739347048 An absolute must read for fans of Diary of Murders And with that being said go read it In this short story collection we get even of Miriam and John Adelaide and Michael and all of the other characters we ve come to know and adore Sensual and downright sexy trysts first meetings between our favorite couples holidays and blossoming friendships I m forever in love with these characters and this dark sultry Victorian London atmosphere Such a lovely companion to the first novel and I can t wait for the sequel Thank you so much to the author for an ARC ebook copy of this book All thoughts and opinions are my own 9781739347048 I have loved being in John and Miriam s world again with this collection of short stories It s definitely recommended to have read Diary of Murders before going onto Several Glorious Months just so you re aware of the basic story and our main characters As usual Sarah s writing is top tier it s addictive gripping and I love her way of storytelling As much as there s smut involved it isn t so much where it detracts from any of the stories within this collection and that s something I really appreciate Just like in Diary of Murders every character is so fleshed out it s exactly like they could have easily been real people and I am obsessed with all of them I loved getting to know about Sir Fredric in The Anniversary as well as getting a deeper glimpse into Miriam s and Adelaide s friendship in Easter and The Birthday As well as that one of my other favourites was New Years Eve where we got to have a bit background of Michael and Adelaide s relationship I thought this was written especially perfect All of the stories had their respective amount of joy sadness steaminess and humour which I loved also Overall another great piece of work from Sarah and it s made me even excited for the sequel to Diary of Murders especially to see of the very intriguing new character who I instantly fell in love with If you like dark romances mysteries set in the Victorian era definitely get on the Diary of Murders train.
