Sweet storyWhat does a governess do when she has no where else to go Away from Society Find a position and hope you can secure your future A Governess Forbidden Flame I felt the story started out a little gothic with a curse on the manor The author is very descriptive in her writing so you could really imagine the place I enjoyed the main characters and the girl Anna They immediately felt a connection which only strengthened when they were threatened by the villains I thought that the extended epilogue was trying to cover too many years Also I doubt if pregnant women travel to the midwife especially if they were of the nobility A Governess Forbidden Flame Wow this story was amazing it had so much going on The author s descriptions of Ravenscroft are right on You can feel the foreboding in the manor and secrets too Amelia was a well know governess in London till her reputation was ruined Her last employer didn t like being told no when he wanted to seduce her Now as was the way back then she is paying the price for an evil man who society has done nothing to When she is offered a job at Ravenscroft even the rumors of it being hunted and a curse will stop her from getting out of London and all the talk Anna the little girl she is to be teaching turns out to be sweet bright and bouncing with energy she is wonderful The Earl Sebastian is going to be other problem as he is the handsomest man Amelia has ever seen Just what she doesn t need is to be attracted to her maybe new employer Sebastian needs a governess for his only family Anna his Niece Not many will come to his home as it is far from London and has many rumors about it He is shocked by Amelia as she is beautiful and Anna takes to her at once He is completely taken over by her smile and love of her teaching it is not just a job but a lifetime calling Both Amelia and Sebastian know their attraction places them in danger He is an Earl and she is in his employment There is also the class difference between them As they spend time together they find they have many of the same interests When they find a hidden library with clues about what happened to his brother they are drawn even closer This story has it all in a gothic setting Suspense Intrigue tons of laughter and fun plus a growing forbidden love and passion When evil shows its ugly head will our twosome be able to draw together and save what is most precious to both You will need to grab a copy to find out Trust me you will not be able to stop reading The best way to lose sleep is reading this book Anne is smart beyond her years just wait and see I received an ARC from the author and wish to thank her This is my honest opinion and am freely giving it A Governess Forbidden Flame
