Surroundings and the past coming to life around them This is just one of those rare books that words just cannot express how powerful and emotional it is It will make you cry both tears of happiness and sadness The multiple narrative brings the story to life along with the descriptions and ensures the reader can see everything that is going on and what the characters are thinking and feeling When I was reading this book I could feel my heartbeat speeding up as I was getting a dark sense of foreboding the deeper into the book I got It is one of those books that I just simply could not put down and I walked around everywhere with my kindle and the book Every chapter ended in a way that I had to know what was going to happen next and then it would move on to the next chapter and do the same so I blew through this in one sitting Reading this book really does make you feel that you are standing with each of the characters and going through their happiness.

Joy and suffering You need to clear your schedules and get the tissues at the ready because you will not be able to put this book down This is one of those books that will stay with me for a long time and although it could be a difficult read at times with emotions running high I would seriously recommend it to anyone and everyone Clear your schedules as once this book grips you there is no way you will be able to put it down The characters were all very strong and realistic and Susan s writing ensured they jumped off the pages at me I was completely invested in Tom from the moment I met him I found him to be such a kind.

Blossoming of truth book pdf This is the second book I have read by this author I have also read Susan s debut novel Spanish House Secrets which I would also highly recomend This novel consists of a prologue and 23 chapters The chapters are short to medium in length so easy to read just one chapter before bedOK I know yeah right but still just in case WOW What can I say One thing I have got to say before getting into my review is clear your schedules and grab the tissues as you will need them This has got to be one of the most stunning books I have EVER read This book is beautifully written with vivid descriptions setting the picture perfectly in the readers mind The title description and cover works perfectly with the storyline This book is devastatingly gorgeous where would be the fun if I told you You will just have to grab your copy of this emotive page turner yourself to find out With a storyline filled with secrets twists lies romance jealousy a death family heartache and so much you will be glued to the pages throughout This book will take you on a journey from Durham to Wales to Cornwall to Lyon This book is filled with every emotion you can think of including love secrets regrets jealousy heartbreak loss happiness tension worry shock suspense mystery forgiveness betrayal hope second chances and so so much It is one of the most unforgettable books I have ever read The plot is unique and after reading hundreds of books it is getting harder and harder to find a unique storyline so a huge congratulations to Susan on providing one The cover is absolutely beautiful and relates to the storyline I like the fact that timelines are given throughout the storyline to ensure the reader knows how much time has passed during chapters and even what time of the year it is in some cases Susan s evocative writing skills sucks the reader straight into the storyline with the characters pain love likeable and realistic guy and my heart completely went out to him for what he went through several times However I will admit that I did want to scream at him especially towards the end but it just goes to show that he is a better person than I would be in that situation after what was done to him I definitely would not be giving forgiveness However I have got to say that I did have some empathy towards the person who put him through that pain because they had a difficulty past but that still does not excuse what they did I absolutely loved Tom s sister Peg who is an absolute rock to him throughout the book supporting him every step of the way I thought it was incredibly sweet how she would call the family The Indians Tom would be called To To and Jonty she would call Jo Jo even as an adult Although we don t really see Dora I enjoyed reading the beautiful poems and sayings that Tom read from her book throughout the storyline I wont say too much about the characters as I don t want to give too much away but there will be characters that you want to shout at you will despair with unforgettable emotional beautiful book I am looking forward to reading of your future books I would absolutely love to see this book turned into a movie This is the exact reason you are on my favourite author list and here s to your next success Overall an absolutely addictive book filled with betrayal love mystery family and heartache an absolutely fantastic must read 365 pages. The truths of the history I was very pleased to be asked by Susan Gray to provide an in depth review for this comprehensive fairly complex novel set in the 1920s There is an extremely packed narrative for its twenty three chapters alongside a full bodied cast both of which were written extremely well Historical Fiction isn t a genre that I have read a lot of favouring Contemporary so prior to reading Blossoming Of Truth a wonderfully fitting title I was a bit apprehensive as to whether it would appeal to me However I love a good romance novel and actually one of my favourite books is of the same set of genres but set many years previous to the time period of this book From the first page I sunk comfortably into it instantly enjoying the ease and gentleness of the era and Tom s polite inquisitiveness taking care not to upset this mysterious female by being too insistent in his questioning whilst desperate to know the truth However when it becomes clear that Rachel is hiding something Tom s laid back forgiving nature started to grate as her evasiveness concerning her life previously to settling in the village and only being prepared to take their alliance so far continued Then when Rachel is supposedly scared off by Tom s verbal faux pas and seemingly forms a new relationship rather too hastily with someone close to Tom I began to dislike her yet Tom doesn t seem to bear any malice towards her rather blaming the other party When he starts to suspect that his slip of the tongue may have been the perfect excuse for her to break ties with him I was really hoping that he would see her true colours However he persists making excuses for her at this point and when she commits the cruel act of revenge although confused mystified and frustrated by Rachel s actions he just can t seem to bear any ill will towards her which I really couldn t comprehend But given that this was a time when men were gentleman and saw woman as somewhat fickle fragile creatures this may have gone some way to his excusing her behaviour From there the way that the remainder of the story unfolded seemed a little stretched as I could not imagine that Tom would have still wanted Rachel in his life or indeed his family accepting their reunion Maybe that is because I am living in 2024 when I feel it highly unlikely that Tom and Rachel s companionship would have extended certainly beyond her betrayal that could have altered his life beyond recognition whilst he was still in a vulnerable state of mind I was also quite surprised Rachel s employers were so amenable to what was happening as they had known Tom and his family for so long It is noted that they made the decision to remain neutral but I didn t feel that that they would necessarily have taken that stance at that time. Blossoming of truthread The reason for my feeling that this narrative was complex is that whilst it is an impressively planned and thought through plot I found it challenging to keep in mind the connections between Philomena Jemima Rachel s godmother Darcy and Tom s Uncle and had to make notes It is entirely possible that this was just me currently It is indeed an immensely clever dynamic that the Author has devised between her characters Despite feeling frustration with the two main characters throughout a large proportion of the book and the ending being for me somewhat implausible I thought that the relationships and dialogue were appropriate for the 1920s and particularly liked Peg and Pierre I cannot say that I bonded with any of the characters though which I like to be able to do being a very character based reader This could have been due to the novel s length and whilst on that subject I felt that the book could have done with being extended by further chapters Once the couple affirm their future what happened from then felt quite compacted and rushed I would have liked there to have been a little detail particularly when Tom and Rachel communicated to Tom s family how they intended to proceed How did they react Overall I did enjoy the book but did struggle with some elements of the outcome Thank you to Susan for presenting me with the opportunity to read her work and I will look out for what she writes in the future Kindle Edition BLOG TOUR REVIEW Review for Blossoming Of Truth by Susan Gray Read and reviewed for Susan Gray UK Book Publishing. Blossoming of truthy javascript This is the second book I have read by this author I have also read Susan s debut novel Spanish House Secrets which I would also highly recomend This novel consists of a prologue and 23 chapters The chapters are short to medium in length so easy to read just one chapter before bedOK I know yeah right but still just in case WOW What can I say One thing I have got to say before getting into my review is clear your schedules and grab the tissues as you will need them This has got to be one of the most stunning books I have EVER read This book is beautifully written with vivid descriptions setting the picture perfectly in the readers mind The title description and cover works perfectly with the storyline This book is devastatingly gorgeous where would be the fun if I told you You will just have to grab your copy of this emotive page turner yourself to find out With a storyline filled with secrets twists lies romance jealousy a death family heartache and so much you will be glued to the pages throughout This book will take you on a journey from Durham to Wales to Cornwall to Lyon This book is filled with every emotion you can think of including love secrets regrets jealousy heartbreak loss happiness tension worry shock suspense mystery forgiveness betrayal hope second chances and so so much It is one of the most unforgettable books I have ever read The plot is unique and after reading hundreds of books it is getting harder and harder to find a unique storyline so a huge congratulations to Susan on providing one The cover is absolutely beautiful and relates to the storyline I like the fact that timelines are given throughout the storyline to ensure the reader knows how much time has passed during chapters and even what time of the year it is in some cases Susan s evocative writing skills sucks the reader straight into the storyline with the characters pain love likeable and realistic guy and my heart completely went out to him for what he went through several times However I will admit that I did want to scream at him especially towards the end but it just goes to show that he is a better person than I would be in that situation after what was done to him I definitely would not be giving forgiveness However I have got to say that I did have some empathy towards the person who put him through that pain because they had a difficulty past but that still does not excuse what they did I absolutely loved Tom s sister Peg who is an absolute rock to him throughout the book supporting him every step of the way I thought it was incredibly sweet how she would call the family The Indians Tom would be called To To and Jonty she would call Jo Jo even as an adult Although we don t really see Dora I enjoyed reading the beautiful poems and sayings that Tom read from her book throughout the storyline I wont say too much about the characters as I don t want to give too much away but there will be characters that you want to shout at you will despair with unforgettable emotional beautiful book I am looking forward to reading of your future books I would absolutely love to see this book turned into a movie This is the exact reason you are on my favourite author list and here s to your next success Overall an absolutely addictive book filled with betrayal love mystery family and heartache an absolutely fantastic must read 365 pages. Pdf blossoming of truth pdf Stylish slick and classy which will hook you to the final page Kindle Edition Book Review This is a gentle historical novel set in the 1920 s The language is good and definitely made me feel that I was reading about events and characters of that time The character of Tom meets a woman called Rachel with whom he almost immediately feels drawn to He has a deep feeling that they have already met before but he just can t put his finger on when As they become closer Tom decides to start his own investigation into the identity of Rachel and makes a discovery which impacts on the relationship between the two of them This culminates in a sad loss for them both I really liked the character of Peg the sister of Tom and her fianc Pierre I also wanted Tom to be happy but I did not like Rachel so the ending of the book for me was just a little bit implausible and I did struggle with part of the ending I ll be honest and I don t want to give anything away but I didn t want it to happen Overall I enjoyed the writing and the storyline here It is a gentle thoughtful read Many thanks to Susan for sending me her novel and giving me the opportunity to read and review Kindle Edition.
