Thank you to the author for a gifted copy of this book for an honest review I loved the storyline however it felt a little like a grown up version of Twilight but without the vampires Loved the down to earth drama involving family ties Overall a great read 9781959716051 I won this in a giveaway I thought this was a fun book I really liked Jade and her big family The way they talked and interacted felt real. I liked Talon The mysterious love interest I m still not exactly sure what he is but he s different Some parts were a little cheesy and I was hoping for a bit connection between them but I still liked it I will read the rest of the series 9781959716051 Loved the new take on gifted people and the family ties made the book relatable It just fell short for me It lacked details and seemed to want to jump to the next scene quickly Would have love to hear about the fights or even of a build up with the love story I believe this book would have been better off as an adult romance opposed to a young adult It would have given way to those details that it was lacking.
