I either would have read that first or not requested this book This book definitely read like the second of a series and I was left lost without the background context There were a lot of references to the past book and the relationships between characters that had been built previously I m sure this story would ve been much intriguing if I had been aware of this Ronnie Brown Thank you so much to the publisher Cranthorpe Millner for sending me an arc copy to read and review I wanted to love this one so much but it fell flat for me sadly The last 100 pages were good but the first 300 were a chore to get through I wasn t particularly captivated by the story and for most of the book I genuinely had no idea what was going on However.
