Loved this Was a fast read that sucked you in Reptile Author Jeremy Eads A kind of wild coming of age and becoming of something else tale Enough characters to give you the good the bad and the ugly and the issues that go along with them The main and my favourite part of the story though is the creatures and the story around them Very cool and interesting A battle with lots of action and life or death consequences Good fast read I d be up to read from this world Reptile Author Jeremy Eads I m a suckered for creature horror books Reptile was no exception I m a suckered for reptiles as well hehe. Reptile cast The book starts off slowly but quickly picks back up when a boy named Mark transforms into a lizard However the story goes much deeper than that It becomes a thrilling story that I didn t want to put down Mark was an east character to cheer for. Reptile express The story overall is solid It s a high school creature feature in which a young man is given a crazy cool gift by stranger the ability to turn into a dragon There is some love Some hate A little romance Monster fights And betrayal. Reptile is a novel in the classic monster genre of horror fiction the kind of novel that appeals to readers and fans of werewolves vampires or perhaps specifically characters like Frankenstein Like the latter Reptile offers the reader and interior glimpse into the dark side the monster s perspective. The reptile room book I have read Eads before The Lodge and he does not disappoint in Reptile The writing is well and thoughtfully crafted producing tangible human and horribly flawed characters the sort of people you recognize for better or worse There is a perverse kind of thrill in watching these characters succumb to the terror and watching the terror itself come into being and unravel. Reptile book This review is necessarily short I don t want to give away what happens to Mark as he transforms into this monstrous predator That said the appeal of the novel is less about what happens than about becoming invested in the people it happens to Eads characters are sure to elicit various reactions from readers offering him a chance to be chosen by the stones Mark is chosen by Lord Reptile and his life will never be the same When horrific murders shake the quiet town of Summit Valley Mark has to question who or what is responsible. Reptiles for sale The story includes excellent world building with a cast of characters that really make Summit Valley come alive The action is fast paced and really draws the reader in This is a delicious combination of coming of age revenge and creature feature tropes rolled all into one There is a trigger warning for sexual assault I loved Mark and Einar even though he was a tad creepy I m looking forward to books from Jeremy Reptile Author Jeremy Eads
