Happened off stage Did the victim deserve to die Was the crime murder worthy Some would think so I enjoyed the read and the budding relationship between two of the characters whose pasts have left them a bit broken is sweet and slow I enjoyed the read I received a free ARC of this book and am leaving a voluntary review English This is the start to a new series that had all of the twists and turns of an entertaining cozy murder mystery What should have been a fun event turned into a whodunit The main character ends up sleuthing while forming a friendship with the new detective in town I am looking forward to seeing the character progression in future books This book has a satisfying conclusion and can be read as a standalone English Emily goes out of her comfort zone to be part of a panel at the Willow Haven Book Festival She even becomes the moderator of her panel Things go awry as the panel starts its presentation one of the panel dies before they have a chance to do their presentation So many different suspects that it could be but the culprit was someone I never expected and figuring it out takes team work with Emily and the new detective in town A fun read Looking forward to and about each of the main characters and their pasts I received an ARC version and I am giving my honest opinion English The festivities take a dark turn as Emily Kincaid.

Murder on the orient express book pages 5 STARSThis was a fun read The people between the pages felt real and vulnerable and strong all at once The mystery was simple and as cozies do tea shop owner and fellow panelist discovers the author s body just as the festival is set to begin The startling discovery causes panelists authors and vendors alike to pull out of the event threatening to cancel all the hard work of the townspeople The author is dead Who killed him I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author This in no way affects my opinion of this book English Emily Kincaid runs Tea Haven a little tea shop in the small town of Willow Haven Indiana with her best friend Jane Being a former literature professor she jumps at the opportunity to set up a booth at the local Writers Harvest Festival this year to not only showcase her local tea shop s delectable scones and gourmet teas but to also be able to peruse the festival full of famous authors She is especially excited to hear that one of her favorite authors who never makes personal appearances is scheduled to attend Their first meeting doesn t go too well The next daywell it doesn t get any better Emily the little amateur sleuth that she is decides that the local police force mainly Detective Daniel Carter needs her help in solving a murder case involving one of the authors at the event There are many twists and turns throughout the story taking you from one suspect to another to try to figure out who did it I definitely didn t predict the right person in the end A great didn t see that coming ending If you like cozy murder mysteries books involving sweet treats teas and budding friendships between strangers this one is the one for you I was generously given an advanced copy of this book by the author and this is my honest review English This is the first book I have read by this author but it won t be the last I really enjoyed this book and getting to know these characters.
