What is it Once elusive now intrusive the beast has been killing livestock and pets in the town of Cradle Creek for a time However now it has moved on to humans Local hermit Moe O Riley has asked his son to come out with a team to figure out what this thing is that s causing so much trouble Jake O Riley a cryptozoologist and his like minded friends head out to the locations of the attack However they re in for than they bargained for Who will survive the night and will there be anyone left to provide evidence of the Bog Beast Bog BeastOh man What a read Lol Gots an funny feeling some payback is coming for some MONSTER S their lil bastard child English Although there were a few things about the book I enjoyed there was too much of what I did not This book just wasn t my cup of tea English The first 48% of the book seemed to drag I almost stopped reading I am so glad I didn t give up There was so much going in this novel The introduction of characters was kinda boring but after going back to Moe s town farm after his call for help to his son Then suddenly you had to hold on tightly as you strapped in for a wild rollercoaster ride as a monster terrorized a small town Some trigger warnings gore violence assault and vindictive monsters English While I would love a new cryptid story to follow the Bog Beast didn t deliver It feels poorly conceived as if the author did not have a plan for the story The characters were all a bit cliche the beast s were not believable and the horror suspense just never really happened Add a completely unnecessary and rather lecherous sex scene and you have the perfect recipe for A Book To Avoid Cannot recommend English
