Old AF vampire He absolutely does not know what to do with Asher but can t help being drawn to him I loved seeing the progression of his feelings from reluctance and mistrust to romantic and protective sighNow let s talk about my man Asher What an absolute chaos demon If a character is a sassy little shit I will immediately fall in love And Asher was giving me life Sad boy with a heart underneath it all He deserves the world and I can t wait to see him get that The characters all feel fully fleshed out even the side characters shout out to my main gal Veronica And I cannot for the life of me predict where this series will go which is so fun I am so invested This was a fantastic debut novel and I can t wait to see what this author has up their sleeve for us Alex Vale 4. Fear of the dark books for children 5 I m still a bit shooketh by the ending I didn t see it coming and I m gagging for the next book so so good I loved this fresh take on vampires.

The world building was thorough without info dumping I liked that you gradually learned about it throughout the book without being bombarded with lore in the first few chapters I loved Asher instantly but Nikola grew on my over the course of the book He s a bit stiff and takes longer to understand get to know but by the end I adored them both Some amazing side characters in this story I loved Nikola s housemates and everyone at the tattoo studio The story was beautifully written with a lot maturity than you usually get with debuts I think this author will definitely be one to watch But also if I could have the next book in the series.

OMG where to begin THAT book is just A MA ZING This is not the typical vampire MM romance you see out there this is a very good vampire story with an add on the ennemies to lovers gay couple The story telling is impeccable I was submerged and captivated by it from the first lines and the world building politics is just outstanding I m super picky with my vampire story and this one is just gold itself I love the facts that there is two types of vampires two parts of the city a whole hidden hierarchy and soooo many politics and plots to gain the High Throne I have so many questions that I m sure are gonna be answered in the rest of the serie Asher the bratty blood follower is so much than the bloody ennemies from the other side he is so much than a killer I really enjoyed having his back story and be able to see his vulnerability. Fear of the dark books for children What happens when two vampires from opposite sides have to pretend to play nice with each other while trying to gain information for their leaders while also lusting after one another Their story was so well done The world building is fairly easy to understand and the plot is so intriguing The balance between plot romance was perfection The main characters have such depth and personally I am Nikola s biggest fan He was a slight grump but that s how I like them. The fear of the dark gif The politics of their worlds overshadowed the possible romance aspects of their relationship What little is shown of their blooming love story is continuously interrupted lacked passion and feelings I also don t understand why there is a need to make vampire lore even complex I personally don t have the brain capacity to learn a new set of rules new sub species of vampires new powers new hierarchy new everything Just give me blood sucking night crawling old school vamps Almost at the ending and I couldn t care less of the war between their lords of the weird dynamics with said lords or if they get their happy ever after I received a copy of this book from Gay Romance Reviews and this is my honest review Alex Vale Okay this was so fun Rival vampires from different groups sent to spy on each other and end up in weird do I want to fight him or fuck him vibes Was I confused by the world building vampire politics for a good chunk of the beginning Absolutely But I rolled with it and near the end I was starting to get it maybe I don t know but I need the next book ASAP because that ending Are you kidding me Nikola is our stoic somewhat grumpy like tomorrow That would be ideal lol Alex Vale I think this was a 4 star read but I got 5 star enjoyment out of it and the fact this is a baby author literally blows my tits off because I have read some FUCKING AWFUL books lately from well established and well liked authors and this book completely gave me a feeling of joy that those other books COULD NEVER I really look forward to what this author produces and I need book 2 like I need oxygen and books with dicks in them And soon or I will pass awayI can t even explain the plot or anything because I d need a fucking diagram some brain processing power and a clue and I don t have any of those right now.
