Treason Trail book Nessa Shaw is the perfect example of what a nurse should be She remembers the names of each of her patients and strives to make personal connections with them She is able to see past the sometimes gruesome injuries and diseases of her patients and see them as men in desperate need of compassion I also love how she is confident in her abilities and is willing to admit that her medical knowledge or at least common sense exceeds that of the physicians at the camp. There is just so much to love about it GREAT BOOK Kit Hawthorne I thought this book was really interesting I liked how the author took us on a journey back to the end of the Revolutionary War and helped us to see what life was like for the soldiers and those with them as they waited for the official end of the war I also liked how this story kept you guessing about what side August was actual on and the revelation of who was behind things was very surprising I thought the author did a great job of drawing us into the story and making us care about the characters and wonder how the story would play out I also liked how the clues about the plot were a little bit at a time so it kept you guessing until all was revealed I also liked the romance between Nessa and August I liked how she took care of him and helped him as he tried to get his memory back and the sweet moments they shared Although I haven t read the other books in this series.
