2 I loved the Crow lord so much and the anticipation till this book came out was insane Lila and Ambrose story continues in The Sun Child Lila by the end of book one was determined to get her revenge on the Viper Morada Her pursuit to find out her power as the sun child unfolds in this book There is a lot of world building and new characters that you will fall in love with The book started a bit slow but the final chapters keep you at the edge of your seat There is a lot of action and lots and lots of SPICE we didn t see much action between Lila and Ambrose in book one but Julie makes up for it in this book You will defiantly see lots of spice once Ambrose and Lila unite The way these characters grow and become intertwined with each other.

Sun child hair studio carlisle pa S My girl MORE than made up for the slow burn tension torture in book one The Sun Child The Vampires of Malvania 2 The amount of internal screaming I am doing at this book Good screaming I promise Oh My God This book do be spicing after the teasing of spice in the first book but it also be storying I laughed I cried I sat on the edge of my seat rooting them on I yelled in frustration I grinned so wide and felt my heart melt I flailed in embarrassment and I hurt my neck because I could not put the book down long enough to stretch my neck out The amount of slouching over my kindle for hours on end that I just didespecially half way in the book all the way to the end Youch I read what Julie wrote at the end about how the direction of the story went the completely opposite way of how it was planned and I m SOOO glad Ambrose and Lila had a mind of their own This was perfect and I WILL be rereading this duology repeatedly in the coming future All the characters not just Ambrose and Lila were absolutely wonderful and I want to dive back into their world again Yes even the gritty dark stuff that happened I m ready to shout in anger and cry again thanks Also I quoted the spicy moments at my husband so now he s wanting to read the duology for himself haha A few things I want to point out though This book gets REALLY dark and also gory so please take care and check out the list of trigger warnings on Julie s site There is also a miscommunication trope and that s probably my least favorite trope ever but I loved the characters so much that I managed to tough it out These are characters that grow throughout the story not just their relationship but themselves as people so they need tropes like this to try to work through. Somewhere under the sun children's book Lastly as I mentioned before this book IS spicy the whole duology but this second book especially There are a ton of scenes and multiple k nks are explored I would consider this dark romantasy so you know what to expect Also monster love he is a vampire with a monster form after all Ambrose and Lira are a highly charged relationship they find any kind of excuse to get down Just as a heads up I thought it was fine personally but I wanted to point it out for others. Scion of the blazing sun childe The perfect combination of fantasy and romance made me realize just how much I ve missed vampire stories and just like with part 1 I believe that the idea of having different type of vampires was quite creative not to mention the existence of the Sun Child which made sense In other words world building was really good and left me wanting of it. Sun children trailer On the other hand the part I liked the most about book 2 was Lila and Ambrose s relationship During the whole book I was thinking just how great the change in their dynamic was and how I m glad we actually got to see how their relationship progressed instead of getting the good old they lived happily ever after In short their love story in this book was on the whole other level both emotionally and physically and I enjoyed it than anything else. Scion of the blazing sun childe Special shoutout to the dedication I believe most people here would relate to it I both love and hate how the story has stopped as a duology since I ve got to really like and relate to most of the characters I do believe that we got a very scarce amount of secondary characters scenes in part 2 though but I also understand that everything has been said and done so now I m just waiting for new books The Sun Child The Vampires of Malvania revealing the horror and trauma of their past to each other just makes them a stronger force I will say this was the perfect ending I would look for in a book I enjoyed seeing each character get what they deserved Most of all I loved seeing of Pollock and the rest of the crow force Some of my favorite quotes My arms feel empty without you in them my fingers feel tangled in the phantom strands of your hair My soul has never felt colder I only want you Ambrose Monster and all If you need to loose control lose it on me If you need to yell yell for me If you need to kill kill for me But know even in death all I will ever want is you If your heart mourns for something I ve made I will make it again and again and again until my hands fail to make any If your heart mourns for something because it was mine you already have all of me body heart and soul The bargain it s between both of us It fused the crow lord and the sun child You showed me the stars Let me show you the sun She was the sun of his universe and he would orbit around her for as long as she allowed even if it meant he got so close it burned him right up You have made me strong You have made me resilient and you have given me the power to overcome the trauma of my past The Sun Child The Vampires of Malvania 2 This book was both so fun and so daunting to write I loved this continuation with Lila and Ambrose seeing how they both grew over these two books was so thrilling to write I hope you all enjoy reading their story as much as I enjoyed telling it 3 The Sun Child The Vampires of Malvania 2 4. Sun child english international preschool 5 only because I am loyal to The Crow LordI ve said this before and I ll say it again the second book has a tough job It needs to continue the suspens while progressing a story we are already fully immersed in and it needs to shine in its own right And The Sun Child did it took us on a journey of two characters and their own development along with their relationship building into something past the initial frenzy But just as second books have a job to do so do first books they need to be interesting enough for us to want to read the next one and build a story we are committed to well The Crow Lord did that in spades I think it was too big a job for The Sun Child to exceed our already outrageous expectations This was a solidly fantastic read everything is well rounded and brought to a beautiful conclusion I loved it I just can t let my first love go my first love in the form of The Crow Lord The Sun Child The Vampires of Malvania 2 When I tell you that I BINGED this book it s waaaaay darker than book 1 now our Little Mouse is back into the enemy s hands in the Viper Morada she s determined to prove herself and destroy them from within. Sun children imdb If you haven t read The Crow Lord book 1 yet you need to And then you NEED to read this one Well done JM Failde Thank you for bestowing upon us the monsters of Malvania s story The Sun Child The Vampires of Malvania 2 If I could give no stars I would This author mentions the MMC having dark brown skin and being black She even mentions transatlantic enslavement in his history However every artwork she posts of him is as a white man I messaged her respectfully explaining how careless this is and she blocked me with no response As a black person I did not choose a fantasy book expecting the history of my ancestors to exploited like this I am so disappointed that I wasted my time reading these two books I hope this helps others look for a different author and book Trigger warning This book contains unnecessary reference to transatlantic enslavement and trade of black people The author is careless about how this may impact black readers especially given that she keeps posting images of him as a white man but describes him with dark brown skin The Sun Child The Vampires of Malvania 2
