But this really was a fitting end to the story Kim McDougall Gleeful Goblin Review I knew going into this story it was going to be a wild emotional rollercoaster The culmination of a series I love and I LOVE this one is always bittersweet because all stories have an end but rarely are any of us ready for that end With how much change Kyra and her collected family friends critters have gone through to get to this point and with such a daunting threat from the opji there was bound to be high emotional stakes A standout moment for me that hit me right in the feels was this conversation between Kyra and Emil It s going to be a rough road for you Winter will make travel nearly impossible I hugged myself.

But I can do something to improve this little corner of it It is always bittersweet to finish a series and this one is no exception This amazing world of misfits has brought me immeasurable joy and I m so grateful to have been a part of their journey 5 5 Stars Kim McDougall This was a great story It s very well written with so many great characters It s certainly a page turner I didn t want to put it down Kyra Mason make an awesome team in their fight against evil creatures. Worlds Don't Collide kindle unlimited Now the fight with the Opji is on These super Vamps have a plan and won t stop until they succeed Kyra Mason are gathering an army and gearing up for the war that is unavoidable Kyra is so worried about her family and Shar because the Opji already tried to crack her little coconut shell once She sends her daughter away to a safe place so the Opji have no chance to get her Raven Jacoby the fire dervish want to help but Kyra is torn She has come to love Raven and as far as she is concerned he is her son Jacoby also holds a place in her heart and she has to admit the little dervish is a great help Mason Kyra discuss it and agree they can help but they lay down strict rules As the army gathers.

Kyra has to get Tara to the castle to retrieve her power back from the Opji who stole it The ending was absolutely outstanding and I really hope there is to come because I am hooked Kim McDougall End of the series This book is a perfect ending of the series I am sad it has to end I do love the characters growth throughout the series To see how far they have all come Happy ever after is not realistic The ending provides closure on the over arching plot and wraps up nicely Kim McDougall This review is hard to write and a bit of a ramble so I ll beg your forgiveness in advance Where to begin I had planned to read a couple of books by other authors once I finished reading Unicorns Don t Cry book 8 of the Valkyrie Bestiary series but that plan went out the window I had to stay in this crazy.

Most vampires I really despise demons Not since the days of Anne Rice have I intentionally read books where those types of characters figure prominently in a story Different era less fragile psyche Worlds Don t Collide takes us deep into the world and evil minds of vampires whose main goal is to become god like and dominate all mankind Kyra was previously tasked by Terra to wipe out all of these evil blood suckers but now the task has become urgent The time to complete this task is counting down with dire consequences if she and her loyal companions and allies fail One of her children was taken and she will do whatever it takes to bring her back An epic battle ensues This book made me feel such strong emotions I cried along with Kyra and Mason with each friend lost and wished I could reach out to the author to beg her to rewrite the story to keep them with us One in particular hit me the hardest Early on in the series.

Thank youIt is rare to find a series so compelling and so complete Kyra and Mason join the romances I cherish for their humanity the very realness of their love So what if they are a gargoyle and a valkyrie They are us That is what fulfills the promise of the best of urban fantasy post apocalyptic tales They posit a way forward as so as to entertain in the best ways Thank you for sharing them with us Kim McDougall Awesome SeriesI am sad this is the last book in the series I have enjoyed reading every word of each of the 9 books plus 4 short stories It was a satisfying end but oh it would be so nice to read critter wrangling with Jacobs taking on a important role I love that little dervish And Cletus the unicorn I need to hear that he feels happy now or at least is over his ptsd Maybe some day we will get Kim McDougall This was a brilliant ending to the series Everything is wrapped up and the characters have a somewhat happy ending I ve loved this series so much I can t even say how much Anyway this was a brilliant wrap up to a brilliant series and although this is short I hope you feel the love I have for it I m sad to see Kyra and her menagerie go It s been a great ride You want to read this series Kim McDougall A satisfying conclusion Worlds Don t Collide while sad to say goodbye to beloved characters provides a satisfying conclusion to a wonderful series Kyra and Mason work together with the friends and allies they have made over the years to defeat an enemy that has total destruction on their agenda The odds are against Kyra and her ragtag army but to save her family Montreal and even Terra there is no turning back from the challenge I couldn t stop reading until I reached the last page If you are a fan of Kyra and her adventures you will love this one too Kim McDougall Awesome Such a great story to say good bye to the series I will continue to wonder what lies ahead for little Holly and her powerful magical essence and the strength of Kyra and Masons love But all good things must come to an end and I will look forward to revisiting this exciting world in re reads Kim has brought so many new critters into existence in her world that one must visit them again Kim McDougall If Kim McDougall could have one magical superpower it would be to talk to animals Or maybe to shift into animal form Definitely fantastical critters and magic often feature in her stories So until she can change into a Griffin and fly away she writes dark paranormal action and romance tales Kim is also passionate about fiber art photography children s literacy rescue animals nature and genre bending fiction She also writes for children under pen name Kim Chatel. Book worlds don't collide lyrics Kyra has been charged with a sacred duty to wipe every filthy blood sucking vampire off the face of Terra s earth Starting a war with the vamps means she needs help but her allies are scattered and squabbling amongst themselves When the vampires attack Montreal and Kyra s family is threatened she has no choice but to start the fight that will change their lives and the very shape of their worlds forever Worlds Don t Collide is the exciting conclusion to the Valkyrie Bestiary Series Worlds Don t Collide Valkyrie Bestiary 9 4 stars perfect wrap up to a fun series Worlds Don t Collide was a beautiful fitting ending to the Valkyrie Bestiary series It felt as if everything Kyra has done throughout the previous eight books had a role to play here There were laugh out loud moments but also many moments that brought tears to my eyes It was fun to see the return of characters from previous books and novellas This has been such a fun series one of the first I picked up when I started Kindle Unlimited not long after Book 1 Dragons Don t Eat Meat was released I have loved going on this journey with Kyra Mason and their family of beasties big and small If you are thinking about reading this series I recommend it It is an easy read with fun characters and the many different creatures steal the scene It has some of the most interesting and unique worldbuilding a future dystopian society where magic has basically caused the end of the world as we knew it With this book it s a completed series Thank you to Kim McDougall for writing this exciting ride I will definitely be checking out by this author I ll miss Kyra and crew already feeling the cold seeping into my bones Emil seemed unaffected He gazed toward the road You once told me that misfits change the world He finally turned to look at me This is my chance I might not change the whole world they struggle with a plan of attack because the Opji have made it possible to see anyone that approaches from all sides As if that s not enough wild beautiful world a bit longer with these characters that I have grown to love So I read Worlds Don t Collide And Tales from the In Between but I ll get to that later For the record I don t like vampires or rather Jacoby our precious dervish wormed his way into my heart I didn t think it was possible to love him He s right up there with Kyra and Mason as one of my favorite characters ever It was bittersweet reading the final words of this book knowing that there would be no new adventures to come There are however a couple of short prequel ish in between ish stories that I ve yet to read including Thorn of Vioska and I have already started The conclusion of this series was unpredictable and as I mentioned above I wish certain characters had survived the battles Beyond that the story was satisfying and so very good This entire series is worthy of all the stars and worth reading than once Very very well done indeed Kim McDougall
