OH MY WORD I m suddenly adrift after being plunged into this beautiful book Themes of magic fate family trauma and healing are woven throughout this stunning tale The magic system in this book is beautifully fleshed out along with each and every character I don t so spoilers in reviews but Sullivan managed to make every single character leap off the page So many dynamics between characters were beautifully explored Sibling bonds found family fated mates platonic soul mates best friends I could go on and on This exciting high stakes novel kept me tethered to the characters grieving with them and celebrating their triumphs because of the stunning exploration of humanity I ll end this review by saying I m madly in love with Caid I call dibs Daughters of Legianne Read this book if you like witches elemental magic found family older MCs mutual pining female friendships good vs evil having a good time readingIt s hard to describe this book without spoiling anything because a lot happens so the summarized version is that the main character R is n is a witch who just moved to Greens Glen Lina befriends her quickly and introduces her to Lina s brother Kincaid R is n and Caid feel a connection when meet that they can t explain A lot of things about R is n don t make sense until they do There s someone trying to bring down than just the town s breathable air There s action and suspense and tension You feel like you re getting to know the characters deeper than you might in some other novels It felt like they were being vulnerable with you as the reader. Holly surprised released this book in ebook format 2 weeks ago but it just became available in paperback this week so now you have options and definitely need to check it out Thankful for the opportunity to be an ARC reader and all opinions are my own congratulations on a stunning debut CW pregnancy death of a parent off page sexual assault sexual content Daughters of Legianne Witches and magic aren t usually on my radar for reading but the beautiful cover won me over judging a book by its cover paid off for an interesting read I must say I m looking forward to by this new author H S Sullivan Daughters of Legianne I am excited to share about this book Daughters of Legianne by H. S Sullivan This is extra special because I happen to know the author and let me tell you this she s a bad ass I truly admire her and it s no brainer to support by buying her book It s one of the genres that I love to read Always have Strong female characters Mystery Magic Steamy Romance Witches Realms Covens What is there not to like There are two ways with how I read a fantastic book the first approach is I read throughout the whole thing without stopping kind of like a marathon in one sitting and it s over pretty fast I m like that s it It s done Just like that The second is my favorite approach I am so enthralled by the story I don t ever want it to end I force myself it put it down because I do not want to finish it too quickly and be like that s it It s done I want to stretch it out for as long as I can I start reading it I get so lost in the story and have to remind myself to come up to get some air When I am up for air I have to put it down which is really hard to do But I want to love on the book just a bit longer This book I took the second approach I didn t want to finish it I wanted it to keep going on I fell in love with the characters the story I cried I laughed I rooted I gasped I worried I celebrated Some parts whoo girl Can this get any hotter The point was I felt like I was IN the story Not just reading it Once it ended I found myself starving and wanting to read the next book I was disappointed that I have to wait to find out what happened next At the same time I m eager that this is the first one of hopefully many yet to come Really This book is SO captivatingly good It has earned a place among my favorites and not many books have made it there Daughters of Legianne
